Wow! What have all those nasty Leicester fans been doing to Leeds to make us warrant our own thread? The only time Leeds have been on my radar if when we were rivals in League one. There may be some Leicester fans with unrealistic expectations, but I am not one of them. When you're up against relegated teams from the Prem, with parachute payments and quality squads, it's always difficult to compete. Then there are the ambitious Championship teams like Ipswich. There are about 15 teams I wouldn't be surprised to see in the top six and both Leicester and Leeds are among them. I do think that we'll probably finish in the top six simply for the reason that if we're not close in January I'd expect the owners to throw another load of money at it. This is not arrogance, but simply me observing a club that seem to run by people with more ambition than anyone I've seen in my 20 odd years of watching Leicester. The long term motivation of these people will only become clear over time. At the moment I see Leeds as being close to the top six or just missing out. It's a bit annoying that you cite Kisnorbo as Gradel and reasons for optimism when they are both players that Pearson let go for nothing. I always thought Kisnorbo was class, but Gradel's progression has surprised me. The only reason I think Leeds may miss out is that I don't see the same ambition from Papa Smurf and co. as I see at other clubs. A few signings from either side, or by another team altogether, could still significantly sway my opinion on how we'll do. I believe that Leicester can match almost any side in defence or midfield (on paper), but we're still some way off being the best in terms of our strikers. All this my team is better than your team is fairly irrelevant as we'll start finding out soon enough anyway. Then we can all come back on each other boards with either an arrogant swagger or with our tail between our legs.

So really we have a better first team all together and substitutes. The only posistion where you are better is left back and thats not because koncheskey is good because i wouldnt have him at leeds, its because we are still in the hunt for a left back but lichaj who we might get is better than konchecksey
we havnt really spent either and i wonder if leicester have, yet leicester fans think they are the second best team in the league which i reckon most of them think tehy are the best.
