Hard luck last night- the Baggies are a stifling bunch and it's a shame we are getting in the way of a title race, but that's football.

I think what it does show is that Spurs do still require one or two top class players to elevate yourselves to Regular title contenders, especially with the other rivals expected to spend again in the summer trying to bounce back. For me it's probably a bit of extra pace in and around Kane that could give you options off the bench when a bank of 10 players is difficult to break down. Maybe Berahino might be that man but then again maybe not.

Leicester still have a couple of tough games so let's wait until the weekend before we judge.

Important as people have said that Spurs keep the momentum though and consolidate the automatic CL places.

Great thing about Spurs is they have a genuine solid core now and that's what wins tykes when you look through the last ten years.

I've watched The Baggies at WHL before and they've caused Spurs problems so no change there. It's the CL for Spurs so the season could have been far worse and I'm already looking forward to next season and another title challenge. The normal top 4 mould has been broken which is good for the PL.

    NSIS, Spurs did not score.

Even knowing the results and what has to be done, playing at 8pm on a Monday is completely different to 1.30pm, 3pm or 4pm.
Once, fine. But 3 weeks in a row with our rivals not having similar fixture day/times?

Ahh well, it was a fun ride lads, weren't it?

Gotta say I've never been so proud of such a team in my 26 years on this planet, we play with everything I want to see in a side; Passion, skill, grit, determination and team work.

A damn shame the race had to end last night, deep down I knew the title was Leicester's yet I was still hoping we could push it 'til the final game to get them sweating.

Think our luck was again summed up, hit the post twice and the bar once, along with a couple of Myhill saves. Fair play to West Brom, they were solid throughout and managed to grab a goal and a point that guarantee's their safety, I said before the match they're a bit of a bogey team for us at the Lane and unfortunately I was right on that.

For those that were there, how brilliant was Micky Hazard at half time? The passion and love he has for us is incredible, he said how he thinks this is potentially the best Spurs side in the making and I don't think many would disagree with that, it's certainly the best we've had in the Prem era, he made us all chuckle at the end of his speech too by saying "guys, for the record, Eden Hazard is not part of my family!" <laugh>.

Something else I loved was the reaction at the final whistle from our fans, you could be forgiven if it was somewhat of a hollow and downbeat atmosphere but we gave a huge rendition of "we love you Tottenham" to let the players know how much we've appreciated their efforts this season in giving us such a joyful one to watch. Some of the demolitions we've dealt this season, especially to the two Manchester sides at the Lane, have been so satisfying.

As for the game itself, I thought Dembele was superb, it's nigh on impossible to tackle him, how he manages to turn and weave like he does for such a big guy is incredible. Rose was again in the wars, the bloke gets battered and bruised each game yet always gives as good as he gets. I saw in the headlines this morning that Dele lashed out on Yacob, didn't see it during the game and no one in the crowd did either I think as there was no reaction during the match of any "ooh's and aahhs'" or in my case when a scrap breaks out - "****ing do him, Dele!" <laugh>.

Here's hoping we finish the season strongly, a win at Stamford Bridge would really stamp down on what's already been an incredible season, they're going to come at us I think so it should make for an open game, which we tend to excel in.

Must say however, I finally saw Arsenal fans appear on my Facebook and Twitter time lines last night, only took them 35 games into the season to turn up because they've definitely not been at the Emirates lately <whistle>

    Chin up,
The Chavs were always going to throw the last game.
ln some ways better not to give them a crumb of satisfaction.
A very good season but better bench players are needed if
we want to kick on .
    God bless Mr Poch .

No complaints about WBA at all. I thought you played better than Leicester did when they stole the win against us with one shot on target! Professional until the end of the season (unlike Swansea?)

Of course we're not allowed to point out stuff like this because it's all sour grapes apparently. But I don't see the difference between playing after another team that is ahead of you already, and having games in hand. Everyone seems to agree that they'd rather have points on the board than games in hand (and I agree), but as long as we play after Leicester we effectively have a game in hand. It's just extra pressure. So if the gap was 5 points and we play before them, if we win they are only 2 points ahead, but if we play after and they win the gap is 8 points. I know which position I'd rather be in, and I know which positions creates more pressure from them. It's utterly wrong to say it doesn't make a difference, and to give us three consecutive Mondays is utterly unfair.

The Monday night stuff was always going to draw comments if we dropped points like we did last night, to go into three games on a spin knowing that we're chasing was going to be mentally tough, I don't think we've showed signs of nervousness in the two of them so far though. We battered Stoke whereas West Brom came with a solid game plan which worked, we hit the post twice and the bar once, it's not as if we had a melt down at the back and they won by a couple of goals, we dominated play for large periods and were unfortunate not to score 2 or 3 more, while they scored from a corner, **** happens in football. It's why I don't get opposition fans saying we've "bottled it", I've seen it all on Twitter and Facebook including mock up photos by spoof footballing sites. You can't really bottle the title if you were never leading the pack, if we were to lose 2nd place that'd be bottling it but right now we've just lost out to a side who's been more consistent than us, simple as that, no complaints and no excuses.

To be fair Kev , your team weren't that entertaining last night, unless you're a boxing fan !
Unfortunately because of media scrutiny, I think Alli has played his last game for you this season...... Shame because he's a real talent !
    Hope Dier's okay though .

Just seen the Alli punch on Yacob, typical Alli <laugh>, he's such a little **** though I can't help but find him funny when he does stuff like that, especially when Dier has to jump in if the opposition reacts, it was inevitable that one of his antics would come back to bite him and that's definitely going to be a ban unfortunately, just a matter of how many games.
Just what we need going to Stamford Bridge next week! Especially if Dier is out with injury.

I don't find it remotely funny SOS. I think what he did was more down to frustration at his own performance than whatever Yacob was needling him about. 2 or 3 good passes aside, Alli had a terrible game wandering around aimlessly for large parts of it. He'll probably get a 3 match ban for that which puts him out for the rest of the season. I don't really mind to be honest as I'd like Son and Njie to get some good playing time in before the season is over. It would also be nice to remind ourselves just how good Eriksen is back in his natural position playing centrally.

Not having a go at Dele; he's young and will learn from this season. But what he did was inexcusable and often a ban and subsequent negative headlines is the best tonic for any big-headedness that the YPOTY award might have caused. Humble pie is best eaten young they say. He'll be back bigger and better next season.
