Dunno mate,I just checked the score from the weekend. I'm not particularly familiar with their squad anyway, but their results over the last few weeks
would suggest they are saving themselves

I haven't seen any La Liga really this season, never been a fan apart from when Atletico won a couple years ago.
Usually prefer the Bundesliga highlights on ITV player. Even this season I haven't followed that. Should start seeing that we'll be linked to Germans left right and centre.

I agree with MITO, Villarreal's form form is a concern. Not for them, for us. They're putting all efforts into the EL. <ok>

If Lucas is preferred at CB to Skrtel then it really is telling...

Jimmy is having kittens at the thought of either of them lining up at CB with Lovren though!

Kolo is the only other option, and that's who I would pick. We need Lucas in his best position and Skrt's on the bench

Not familiar with Vilareal's team at all, not sure if they played their strongest side on Sunday or not..
If they did.. then, whilst we have to travel there (not a long trip to be honest), we played 24hours before them, rested a number of starters..
So, fatigue at the end of the game may be a factor.
They're a good team, you don't get to be "best of the rest" in Spain if you're crap, but are they better than Dortmund? Don't know but highly doubt it..
The way we're playing, we are banging in quite a few goals, only issue, we're conceeding too..
For me, I don't want a 0-0 away to them, the worst result I want is a 1-1, if so, then hopefully we'll be able to complete the job at home!

    ----------- Mingolet
    -- Clyne Kolo Lovern Moreno
    --------- Milner Lucas
    ---- Lallana Firmino Coutinho
    ----------- Sturridge

Players playing in their correct position, whilst he's done well when playing their, I'd rather have Lucas sitting in front of the CBs and Kolo partnering Lovern
If Lucas does play at CB, then the obvious change would be Allen to partner Milner

I'd go with this and the Allen super sub to dominate the game

I think this is probably the only possible line up. anything else will be weaker. Lucas v allen is a call... in an away game lucas first up just being negative as setting out the stall is no bad thing. put on allen with instructions to pass the ball is a good thing... i find allen gets ost i nthe game sometimes and having clear instructions for a 1/2 hour burst is better.

I agree also.. 0-0 not that good. they don't seem to score many but don't concede either.. if we could get 1-0 away it'd be ace.

Klopp likes Lallana.. can't see him dropping him for this game..
Front four of Lallana, Firmino, Coutinho and Sturridge, need them to click, if they do, then we should at least ask Vilareal a defensive question or two...
