Possibly, however funny how the protests are reaching screeching point now the upper west are affected, if they had joined in with City til we die, Allam would have known the full stadium was against him. Allam used that and fiddled a vote to emphasis it, Allam used the upper west as confirmation that the name change was ok and they never did **** all, you reap what you sow. We said three years ago Allam was a **** but you all thought and some still do that he was the saviour, when all along he's no different to the rest, money, money, money.
You think not, Allam is still refusing to use the words Hull City together anywhere, that's against FA rules and he doesn't give a flying, a decent set of fans would have done something to really upset the old bastard, but no, most of our fans are the " I'm alright Jack **** you" Allam is quickly killing our support and taking the bones back to Allam towers to drool over them
He really wouldn't have cared. You just don't get it. Everyone singing anti Allam songs or just the East, it really would not have made a single difference. You are just using it as an excuse to be a **** about other fans you accuse of being ****s about other fans. He was our saviour, I really can't be arsed to go back over that. I really do not like the new ticket plan, but that doesn't mean I suddenly think everything before was bad. Unless you've boycotted the club since he took us over, you're not really in a position to be all "we told you he was Satan here on earth" either.
You can't say that you and me will never know, what I do think is, that if the full stadium would have stood up to him when the name change first came about, maybe none of this would be being spoke about now, I've said before, I am a Hull City supporter, of the team, the owners are just blokes who want to make money, nothing wrong with that, the only two who cared about the fans were Harold Needler and Adam Pearson, the rest have been money grabbers who see the fans as a distraction, as soon as the council told Allam no he changed from Papa Allam, to Dr Evil, and if you didn't see that you must have ostrich tendencies. Now let's all go to the game create a really nasty, vicious, snarling atmosphere and see off those Leeds ****s. Was I day dreaming there?
You are going down the wrong track there Stevie. The allams would love to read your comment because they are loving driving a great big wedge between us all. Forget the nam,e change and all the divisiveness that it caused. That battle was won twice and is now gone. This Schem e is just another way of hammering the fans and everyone should let these people know what we think. You are living in the past.
No you are wrong, if we all stick together we can drive these two ****s out, it was one battle the war goes on, I'm trying to get everyone to fight on the same side against them but even now some fans still think he's great, he great was for one season, then saw the money and changed. If they read my comments then they might be afraid, if they read yours they might send you a free season ticket, you have given up, stand up and sing City til we die on 1904, the war is not over.
I do sympathise with your view, and some part of me is enjoying the bleating of some of the senior Tigers and OSC members who have suddenly changed their tune from 'it's his money he can do what he likes', to being among the most outraged now that Allam has directly picked on them. However, bottom line is, this is an attack on all fans of this football club, whether you will be personally a few quid better off or not. If we end up with this scheme foisted on us, we could quite easily start next season playing in front of 10k fans, and suffer a slow, painful, strangulation back into League 1. When I go back to Hull these days, it is great to see kids wearing City shirts (even the ones with the ****ty badge), but that has only really happened over the past 7 or 8 years- we could quite easily see a whole generation of kids desert City. We all need to get over what's gone before....your enemies enemy is your friend and all that, and show a bit of solidarity to stop this ridiculous scheme. Upper West v Rotherham here I come.
As has been stated, we as city fans need to unite before the allams totally destroy the club, were dealing with people who have a mentality of " my way or the highway" and im firmly believe he would let city go to the wall rather than change his mind, we're at a crossroad with city.
Unfortunately its not against FA rules, something the Trust is trying to change. Most of the fans are not alright Jack which gives us an opportunity to unite our supporters. Yes, some have seen what he's like later than others. Yes, some gave him the benefit of the doubt longer than others. But with the membership scheme he's changed the minds of thousands. For many this will be the first time, or the first time in decades, they have protested against the owners of the club. We need to give them time to catch up with the rest of us. Although I wouldn't be surprised if we had to catch up them. The whole stadium singing City Till I Die won't force them to walk away from £80 million. Although it would make me feel better. Its likely to be a long campaign given how stubborn they are.
I agree that we should all be united in these last few games, and that includes the play offs. I think it is inevitable that Bruce will leave no matter what, I think he has had enough. I do believe that he was trying to do his best to be diplomatic and probably now has had enough.I see no point at the moment criticising his tactics on the field, some have been weird, some spot on I am always positive but I am realistic as well, nothing is going to change on the field till the end of the season.Maybe we will sneak in which will be good but we as fans need to be behind the team at this time.My personal view is that I would never cheer one of my teams players being taken off. Many years ago I got to know Mally Lord who went through torrid times playing for City,he always gave his all but he lived and died City.He does tell a funny story against himself though.A dog got on the pitch at Boothferry during the game and some wag shouted Keep the dog on, take off Lord! I am sincerely sorry I am not living over in UK now but I will always feel the joys, good times, pains following City.To quote the cliche don't let the bastards grind you down, unite for the love and future of Hull City. And t o round it off it looks like another common City is going to win the EPL Good luck City fans
I agree with much of what you say, you just have a different wording that's all. We need a concerted effort probably over a long period of time and that means the Trust and other supporters organisations need to rally together and let them know exactly what we think. I applaud Bruce in trying to rally support for today because the game is against our long time foes, but he must understand that this ridiculous scheme is just a step too far. Fans who were divided over the name change are now rallying together with those they opposed and that is a real step in the right direction. Unfortunately we do have a good number who wont get involved. These are the same fans that cant see anything wrong, the "Im alright so stuff you lot" fans. Forget them, they will never change and there are a few on here. We must stand United over this and get OUR club back. Remember, there will be fans at this club for years, long after these two have gone. But they must go sooner rather than later because they are becoming a cancer and look as though they want to drive this club downwards.
Sorry Obi the above post is referring to Steverico, its Not aimed at you. I hope you get some great support this afternoon. and I hope it snowballs. I am right behind you but Im afraid I have maybe taken the cowards way out because Im not attending today and probably for the rest of this season and after if necessary. I have had enough of these two imbeciles and I just cannot motivate myself to go at the moment. Its sad because as you know in discussions weve had, you know my support has been strong even from a fairly long distance. I never ever thought the day would come when I felt this bad. Ive been there with just 2500 in BP and the players not being paid. Ive sent cash to the club and thrown money into the buckets in some really dire times, but this duo running the club with their nodding dog staff have sunk to depths I never thought possible.
You certainly were day dreaming if you thought that a load of people who sit there and demand to be entertained and score goals in order for them to be so gracious as make a noise will ever create a nasty, vicious, snarling atmosphere.
****ing hell Rico how to win friends and influence people. I was talking to an OAP in pub unhappy about the pricing. When he realised I'd paid 600 quid for my price this season he was shocked. People cant see further than the end of their own nose. It all comes down to have the Allams riled enough people up with the pricing of passes. If enough people benefit then its game over. If not then its how to win this. I would suggest a call to arms. No one renew. Take an ad out in HDM. Tell fans to stick together and let the deadline pass. You will only get them round a table if it hits them in the pocket.
I remember Terry Neill berating fans for getting on Mally Lord's back. The following game the Kempton went to the other extreme chanting his name for 90 minutes and wildly applauding every time he touched the ball. Give me a Mally Lord any time over most of the modern day, here today gone tomorrow players, with no affinity to a club or its fans.
