But, sadly, this is what many people will see and what will affect their choice. Most people have no idea what being in or coming out of the EU will actually mean and, if we do choose to leave, the fact that we'll never be able to go back is going to be a big issue .......
Yep all both sides use is scare tactics. Neither actually try to explain anything. If we leave it's: Every one will be £4k worst off. France will allow migrants in through the channel tunnel. The NHS will die There will be hard to trade. Thousands will lose their jobs. We won't be as safe If we stay it's: More migrants will come. EU will take all our money. Migrants will take your jobs. The NHS will die. Trade is on EU terms not ours. We won't be safe.
It's pretty simple in my eyes; in times of trouble, you don't retreat from the world, you engage with it. And you certainly don't cut yourself off from your nearest neighbours. People who think we can spit the European dummy out and basically commit an act of vandalism without having to face negative consequences are living in la la land.
I will say again what I have been saying for a long time Brexit is not about politics or economics it is about racism at its worst and the whole thing stinks. What amazes me is the dodgy characters supporting it. Would you want Gove, Boris and that idiot Farage running the country FFS. If you wouldn't then why would you think they are right over the referendum??
I was waiting for someone to show me how leaving would be better for me. Not seen anything yet of any substance. I'm not prepared to risk everything I've worked hard for all these years on a gamble.
http://www.capitalandconflict.com/make-or-break-time-for-britain Watched this video though and whilst some of it is a bit over the top (star wars scene), i think i'm in agreement with it. nicked both from the swansea board I know its in the Daily Fail but its been reported in the times too, EU judges overulling our UK laws. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-multinationals-use-EU-courts-claw-taxes.html
Would you want Cameron, May, Osborne running the country? This isn't about who is on which side. Both sides have hardly any one likable. I am leaning to voting to stay in. As like others I have heard nothing (from either side) that has persuaded me. So for me I would rather go with what I know. Even though I don't think the EU is as good as many think. If I had to vote on who I liked on either side most, then I wouldn't vote at all.
Agreed. Hes letting some nationalists who have their own agendas shape whether he stays in or out. Border control is just one of the issues when actually there are many. I for one think we should be driving our own agenda, not by an undemocratic ruling body who seems to be run by the elite and trying to monopolise the state. For me the EU is basically the corporate arm trying to control things. You only need to look at whats happened to greece. Yes there government overspent but the ei dictatef that they had to pay off that debt il by forcing the sale of profitable state assets (surprise surprise to free enterprise).
New evidence appears to show that the Conservative Party bankrolled an operation to bus activists to key marginal seats to campaign for local candidates, Channel 4 News can reveal. The Conservative Party targeted 20 seats in the Midlands and the North they needed to win to defeat Labour in key marginal seats. Photographs, social media posts and documents obtained by Channel 4 News undermine claims by the Conservative Party that BattleBus 2015 was a "national campaign" designed to "promote the Party". http://www.channel4.com/news/new-evi...s-in-marginals
