The camera can be replaced, the photographs can't. Glad to hear that he got their photographs given back.
I'm going to make a huge assumption that these items were lost/stolen together....what an absolute ****ing cheek of whoever has the camera to send the pictures back and keep the camera. They probably think they're a great person for doing it too
Indeed. Been recently watching some of the games he featured in last season, especially the Away games against ManU and Newcastle, and he was pretty damn good in both. Also had a little tinge of what if, during the Newcastle game, as Gardos was filling in for the Belgian bloke, plus we had an entire first select midfield out with injury, and still we beat them 2-1 at St James Park. And Newcastle were playing OK, too. Elia scored his two Premier League goals on that night. The commentator was saying... Can The Saints do it.? If they can we've got to start believing in them [we were a solid 3rd in the PL at the time going into February]. When Elia scored, he shouted ...and they are at it again! Doesn't half put a smile on your face hearing that kind of stuff. Blimey, some of the football we were playing too. Better than most of this season. Gardos was and is a good player and he was a part of all that. Have no qualms about him coming in if either VVD or Jose get injured. Perhaps even Jose's worthy successor [sorry Fran].
Indeed. Although, it's what Erwin and Ronald asked for on Twitter. They said that if the person had the camera and the memory card, please at least send the memory card back and keep the actual camera. Of course they shouldn't have to say that because when someone spotted a camera without it's owner it should've been handed in to the bus company.
So they took that as an invitation? The irony is, that if they had handed both back, then I expect Ron would be the kind of guy to give that person a reward. Then they could enjoy a guilt free camera
I doubt the sort of person who takes a camera from a team bus has the ability to feel guilt. They certainly shouldn't be feeling good for sending the card back, even if that is what was requested.
As far as I'm aware it wasn't from the team bus. Ronald and Erwin had a visitor and the visitor left their camera on a public bus.
That's what Ron said. A thief is a thief, but Ron asked for the family photos back and they got them....so must be some consolation.
http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/20160420-southampton-investors-in-people-3068339.aspx SFC has been awarded accreditation for investing in people...usual gobbledegook, but basically staff are encouraged to be creative and given opportunities to develop. Hopefully this means the fear experienced under Cortese is well and truly gone.
Jordy Clasie says that Southampton FC is becoming like a second family: The country[side] is perfect, the club is lovely... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/20160420-jordy-clasie-life-at-southampton-3070179.aspx He's a quick learner.
Totally agree. I just hope, with an injury free pre-season, he can get his fitness up to a level where he won't need substituting, as a result of having nothing left in the tank. That has to be his aim for next season, IMO.
It took about five seasons for a number of fans to rate Morgan. I heard plenty of shouts about him being a useless cheese eating surrenderer during the promotion years. What I like about Clasie is his passing is mostly forward and it's quick. You won't catch him divering in possession very often.
I don't remember fans saying that about Morgan, but can believe it. Sadly, I said right at the start to my United supporting mate, "this lad is class; he's got United written all over him"
Lacking a transfer thread i might as well pop it in here that according to SportBild in germany we're apparently after Dortmunds Adrian Ramos. http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/...ed-in-10m-bundesliga-striker-chinese-clubs-al If its to replace someone leaving (Pelle?) its a big yes from me. Was hoping we'd sign him a couple of seasons ago as he was an absolute beast at Hertha and IMO would be well suited to the English game.
On paper at least I see no advantage in having him over Pelle. He is the same age and has a similar goal ratio. Plus we don't have a good record with South Americans. Perhaps he has a bit more pace?
