Even after the horrible events of Saturday, surely not a Geordie win ?.

Man City unbeaten in their last 18 games against Newcastle.

    Ooooooh

I read that the goal was offside. We need our rivals to start getting this kind of crap we've been getting!

I told a mate I thought it would be 1-1 tonight. At least it's at this stage early. Plenty of time for City to pull their fingers out. COME ON CITY!!

Newcastle have played well, but the Citeh side are oozing quality. It may depend on how much they have their eye on the CL semi-final.

yup. we dont look like finding the grit to make it through the last few games with some upsets, where as i think both newcastle and sunderland both seem much more likely to be able to do it.

    1-1 could be worse.

Just keeps getting worse. If we don't pull out some miracles and get a point or 3 against United, maybe a point off Arsenal, then we will be down with a whimper.

Bookies have moved Newcastle to 1/6 from 1/4 after tonight. Probably about right because despite it being a decent result, it leaves them needing to win two and draw one of their last four games I reckon - a tall order.

After my terrible prediction of last night, I now will continue with a 7-0 win for Sunderland against the Gooners.

City were lucky IMO.Their goal was off side and
Hart made a good save at the end.

Could have been a lot worse
