Some men actually showed up today instead of their boy impressions. Sissoko..Tiote..Townsend..Anita, Lascelles. Point on Saturday and we might not be quite dead yet.
I didn't watch the game but it sounded like a great performance. I'd have taken that before kick off. Is this our longest unbeaten run of the season if you include injury time?
In a season of absolute ****e, that was a great performance by the way. We shouldn't be in a position where we have to beat City, but I think we probably needed to. Though this keeps up the pressure on those above us, I think nil against Liverpool at the weekend and that'll be all folks.
I think it was a bit closer than that. We were the better team I think but we didn't really create a lot.
tell that kevin friend was ****e aswell mind what a poor ref awful and that co commentator saying it was a pen on aguero what game is he watching
Regardless, Aguero was miles offside. From my point of view, I'm glad he gave the goal, but that blunder could end up sending you down as it has ultimately cost you a huge 2 points.
We need Arsenal to pick up the slag in their match on saturday and the week after. But the play on Thursday too. This fixture list really makes you wonder. Reality is, it's out of our hands. Best we can hope for is beat Crystal Palace and Villa and hope the other team actually still care, and hope that Spurs have absolutely nothing to play for on the final day of hte season and we can scrap another point, which would put us on 36 with a superior goal difference to Norwich. Can the Mackems get 36 points? By all means yes. They could be there in 2 games time. We won't be relegated because of an Aguero offside goal. We'll be relegated because we drew to Villa at home, we lost to Bournemout and Norwich away when we were drawing in the last minute. We will get relegated because we lose to Watford at home.
Think they could have argued about the penalty that wasn't given - I've seen 'em given for less. What cost us was Wijnaldum not taking the late chance. We were only ever going to get one and had to take it, we didn't, hey ho.
I don't think it's Norwich we're battling, it's Sunderland. Their "tough" fixtures are against teams who have their flip flops on aren't they?
That was a brilliant performance in the context of our season. Although a massive kick in the bollocks that they've not done it all season...
