Probably most of us wanted them to win the league but I wanted it to go to the wire so was happy if WHU got the result yesterday and Tottingham won tonight to make it more interesting.....However, not after yesterday. It was a different atmosphere yesterday and they seemed to have that air of arrogance yesterday and the crowd and players seemed to think it was their right to get every decision and everything that went against them was a massive injustice just like Liverpool in the 70, 80s and UTD in the 90s and 00s......detestable Their players were fouling right from the start on and off the ball.......Huth could have easily been sent off in the first half as battered Eminike (or whatever his name is). Imo Vardy was correctly sent off (as his first yellow was about his fourth foul) and no one has mentioned that Morgans foul for the penalty should have been a second yellow. To me that was the first sign of real pressure and the crowd played up and whinged throughout.... The ref didnt have the greatest of games but HE DID even it up in the end which was shameful.... Ive now heard that Sullivan, his co Directors and their families were abused and had to leave their seats.....disgraceful. Is this what being top of the league means?
I hope they have all had a proper look at Vardy's dive and are suitably ashamed. It would be fitting if he got an extra match ban for his abuse of the ref after his red card. I've never been one who wanted Leicester to win it. They are an unpleasant and unattractive side if you ask me. COYS.
Think I'm in the minority that didn't want them to win it before, probably some of that is envy but I've never been overly keen on their fans and no one will hear the end of it if they do it, I'd rather Spurs!
I STILL THINK SPURS WILL WIN IT BECAUSE SIR LES WAS AT TOTTING HAMS AND I LOVE HIM!!! SO MUCH THANK YOU THE OWLS HAVE RETURNED TO THE WOODS
I am swaying to this argument and I freely confess about the envy thing. I was cheering the Hammers yesterday.
I still want Leicester to do it. I didn't see the game yesterday, so can't comment about the goings on. I know Huth could be done for ABH most games and I'm sure Vardy hit the deck unfairly, but these are unusual times for them. If it was us, we'd be doing the same. I want the improbable to happen. Like I've said before, if it was palace or Swansea or whoever, I'd feel the same and also, like I've said before, any other year I'd be rooting for spurs.
To be honest Leicester or Spurs it doesn't bother me at least it's someone different and the long standing Big 4 is no a thing of the past (hopefully). I did watch the game yesterday and the reffing was inconsistent but the attitude of the Leceister fans was poor, it's far too early to become big time Charlies. Thought Vardy's first yellow was harsh but the second was absolutely 100% deserved, I hate this modern phenomenon of deliberately stepping your leg into the path of the defender to force contact, it's as much cheating as diving is.
Fair enough, he was out of order. Anyone charging the ref with incompetence? I think both Ranieri and especially Bilic were very generous towards him yesterday, breath of fresh air in this whinging world.
There's me thinking it was because of your love for Harry Kneecaps not Sir Les that guided your love of Spurs.
If Leicester lose the title through not having their top scorer for the next two games, allowing Spurs to catch up, then Vardy will realise how utterly ridiculous his dive was.
Spurs look very good. Don't want them to win the title but hope the English players take their form into the Euros.
I have nothing against the Foxes personally but fair shout about the Spuds Ellers For me it's all about adding a team to the list of prem tittle winners and shaking it up a bit!
