I maybe cynical but if by some chance we get back into the PL next season and stay there then after the first season there will be further adjustments. And they won't be higher priced sections being made the same as the lower ones. Ehab after all thinks it is unfair that's two people who are sat next to each other could be paying different prices. Next stage will be him deciding it is unfair people in the same stand could be paying different prices.
Payments are made by Direct Debit. The bank will still take payments for the full term of the agreement i.e. until the termination is agreed by the club, which means the two months notice will have to be given. You can try stopping it but the club can just go back to the bank and show that you agreed to those terms.
Kinnel, even Rev Allan Bagshawe is withdrawing his support for the club over the new scheme. The HCST survey so far has 99% of respondents against the withdrawal of concessions.
I'm pleased for you and your family. As least we have children's prices next season in one stand. Just need to get them available for all stands and for future seasons and we are sorted.
A bank will always come after you for the money and it could have a significantly damaging impact on peoples credit ratings, it's a really daft thing to suggest people do.
First, no-one would open a bank account just for this, and secondly the bank cannot cancel a Direct Debit just at the behest of the account holder if there is a legal agreement that money is still due. If the contract says two months notice needs to be given then that's what the club will insist on when it comes to getting the money.
Sorry ma E but you're wrong - as soon as you cancel a direct debit that's it - it's a legal matter between you and the club - it's not for the bank to decide who is right or wrong - they just manage your account and follow your instructions - how will they know whether you gave two months notice or not
You can't just cancel these things, once you've signed up, you're legally obliged to keep paying until you terminate the agreement and after the due notice payment the club ceases requesting payments.
The principle is the same as having a DD for your electric. You can't just cancel it when more money is due, the payee just shows the bank that more money is due and the bank pays.
In principle a good way forward, however appallingly communicated and executed. As it stands I'm not joining the scheme, that combined with the current dour football, the club can stick it! I will be selecting my matches very carefully on a ad hoc basis. So the 3 season tickets I have held for nigh on 20 years, and the single one before, gone (for now). Think I'll change my screen name to Cheshire Disillusioned! Great shame it appears that I'm not alone
But not all families will actually fit into the family stand... so if as a family you currently sit in the West, and cannot be physically fit into the South, do you still qualify the for the family guarantee?
no they don't if you cancel it - ive done it a few times with various payments and all the bank does is what you tell it - the bank isn't there to make sure you fulfill your legal commitments - what happens if you have no money in the account, do you think the bank will still pay because a payment is due absolutely not - ive done it loads of times and the bank wont pay - you just get a note from the person seeking payment that the that's not what I said - you just cancel at the bank and they wont pay any money out - the legal dispute for non payment is between you and the club
Burnsy has done a good job given his situation. Shame nobody from the club has the balls to answer questions. Apparently the literature makes no mention of Hull. Bodes well for the CoC!!!
