4 home games? Quite nice to have.

We have quick turn around in all those games though with the semis in between.

Not a bad little result that.

Giving the youngsters a go and then winning is always positive.

    Good points:

We won with our 2nd team

    Ojo looked good again

Ibe got in the side and looked decent

Studge looked lively and nearly back to full sharpness, he couldve had 4 or 5 today, i think the commentator said that was only his 4th consecutive start for us in 2 years which is frustrating as quite simply, since he's been with us he scores goals when he plays and his record stands up without Suarez too, perhaps the training regime klopp had him on for so long before bringing him back in is paying dividends and we can see a sustained end of season from him (i hope to **** he doesnt make the euros tbh) then he can be fit and ready to go for us next year.

Firmino was pants despite his goal today, but id say we can look back on this 1st season and say he can be a player here, hes got goals and assists and clicked with cout's in particular on the pitch, all after a slow start.

    Bad points:

none really apart from not getting the 3rd and killing the game off, they had good chance with the header at the end which could've made this a very **** day.

I want them relegated. Been poor for to long and Ashley deserves to miss out on the TV money.

I'd love to see them down personally.

Anyone see Klopp's post match interview? He was annoyed at the first question being about one player (Sturridge)

Only if it forces change so they can come back better organised with new owner.

The prem needs two things. Well run clubs like Southampton but also well supported clubs like newkie.

Newcastle with respect to them (and villa) have utterly failed in terms of organisation and they are unfortunately where they deserve but the fans deserve more.

If we look at say middlesboro they've tried and built for years having learned the hard way he fast was my was the bad way. They really have tried so hard.

We beat bournemouth but that club is all about one man Howe.

Agree with selling Skrtel, but Lucas can play in different position in case of injuries.

welll...... theres its time to go and thanks for your service and there's no gratitude.

LFC great managers were "ruthless" with players in the past. Shankley learned that the hard way by allowing his side to age. Paisley was accused to just following shankley success but he actually completely changed his sides compoistion twice or three times. for example 78 to 81 teams are very differetn. in 84 they were different again.

If anything dalglish made the same error shankley did... too many whelans and molby's who were past it in 1991.

If we look about today we see a lot of teams that are a bit long in the tooth and as much as we give utd it in the neck they have seen a classic van gaal job. regressive tactics but youth brought to the fore and old guys swept away... bad singins though... next guy in will have 42 young full backs and rashford and martial.

It is time to say skertl and lucas, really you can't cut it any more... not at 2 games per week so thanks for your service and enjoy your last couple year playing.

Same as it was time 2 years prior to gerrard... yer legs have gone mate.. sorry. or carragher. Rogers dared drop carragher.. so he retired. better to go at the top IMO.

It's a shocking thing to say really of 2 players who have nearly 500 appearances between them for the Reds....and from a "supporter" who blames the fans for not getting behind the likes of Markovic, Manquillo and Balotelli <laugh> If you ever wanted to pick a signing that epitomises everything that's gone wrong at Liverpool I'd suggest Mario is that signing. A lazy, football hating man signed by a committee of Football Manager gamers.

Skrtel and Lucas may well leave but they should at least leave with a handshake and a thank you whether people rate them or not. Modern fans eh....sickening really <whistle>

Skrtel should be going, even for his own career. At his age he probably only has 1 more contact in him so he should want to go out and be first choice something which he's not here.

Lucas is keep, he's shown versatility this year and his experience is needed. He's also the closest thing to a scouser in the squad bar Flanno!

The professional thing is all sides shake hands and are honest with each other.

Say Martin you won't be playing next year I think. If skertl wants then to prove manager wrong ok but if he is really like borini looking for the wage then be honest too.
In general all players need to play and have full careers imo not collect a pay cheque and party.

Skertl has always conducted himself well for us so I'm sure he'd go if told it was time and understand that's football.

    Same for lucas.

I remember people wanting Skrtel to go a few seasons back, because he didn't seem to be the standard to where we wanted to be. Then he ended up having a couple of solid seasons for us (even changed my name in honor to him "Mutant Ninja Skrtel"), where he didn't let much past him except his own own goals. <laugh>

Same with Lucas, would prefer him to stay to be honest. Changed my name in honor to him once as well, think it was the same time @Lucaaas changed his from from "Rauuul" (Meireles) and @Milk has a big changed his to "Lucas Milk". #memories

Two players I have a lot of respect for and should be thanked for their services if they were to leave.

Agree... They may not have been the best in their positions, but they never gave less their best! Good servants of the club, if they are to leave then they leave with my thanks!

Didn't see the game, be it live stream or even on MoTD..
Will base my opinion on live twatter feed....
    Ward had a good game?
Ojo looks promising (please don't label him the Next XYZ!)
Ibe by all accounts didn't look like a headless chicken.
Joe Pirlo was Joe Pirlo.. good for him, happy for the lad (always liked the fella!)
Studge appears to have got the message as well, with Origi on form, he's no longer #1 starter!
