Yeah Swans fans shown some class. Aside from that bloke who was obsessed with Shelvey. I'm sure he injured Jonjos cameo with Routledge and Cork (?) bouncing off Jonjo as if they were ragdolls.

Townsend was class today. Made all 3 goals. Good deliveries too. Even the free kick he messed up was quite dangerous. Also playing Sissoko down the middle seems to be the way to go, because his dangerous staggering can't do defensive damage. Anita had a good game too. Not fair on the lad to judge him on playing left back, he's fine as right back, I'd have him over Janmaat any day on the form of last 12 months. Janmaats been a complete liability. Everytime he gets forward we pretty much end up conceeding.

 

Agree 100%. Been saying all season he is nowhere as good as he thinks he is. He is the Dutch version of the previous French waste of space, Debuchy. He same the same mentality, too. Hope the Toon stay up! But you have to ask. With a performance like today, why the players did not respond earlier in the season.

 

Steve McLaren's biggest fault was that his teams were just far too open and ill disciplined to achieve any kind of consistency. Rafa is trying to make us more compact and better organized and that is something we're learning to comply with.
