Yes, video replay technology will sort everything out; look how everyone on here has agreed on every decision.

I think it's more the angle the ref saw it from as to why he gave the pen.

I was insulted at the time but I'm happier now I know that Vardy was just practising when he did this when we were playing them the other week:

    Welbeck's first touch is horrid.

This (sarcastic) point is so obvious I can't believe it needs to be said. Please can a pro-technology reader explain to me and Vin how it will all work.

If I was VVD I'd have done a Nazi salute at him.

But they stop the clock for every stoppage in the game and the referee uses the TMO to check something and not for managers to challenge calls.

Didn't say anything about the version they want to use in football is 100% good? Should just be used for pen decisions and sending offs. Then scrap the whole if the ref sees it and does nothing, you can't hand out a punishment crap.

Hopefully they will trial it and sort out some of the rubbish.

Given the disputes about Vardy's dive and the Leicester penalty, disputes from people who've watched the replays, this will solve nothing.

I do love how the answer given by everyone is "yeah, well, they'll work out a way to make it work". No-one, no-one, not one person that I can ever remember, has ever gone into detail about how they think it'll work. Detail. You know, like, "Yes there should be three people watching replays, all independently voting on any decision the on-pitch ref refers to them. They'll have thirty seconds to decide whether to go back so the game keeps flowing. Alternatively, any two out of the three can choose to review a decision if they feel the on-pitch referee might have missed an event". That sort of thing I would respect and it would be worthy of discussion but I genuinely can't recall seeing anything like that, ever.

I speak as someone who approves of technology to aid offside decisions. GPS and a ball accelerometer would mean a linesman could pretty easily tell if someone's out of line when the ball's kicked.

You also think Clattenburk is a good ref. Your opinions are... questionable. ;)

For the record, I think Moss got both pens wrong, but Vardy right.

Seems ironic that Vardy did a theatrical dive after accusing Austin for diving the other week. I don`t like him.
