A lot of them are old buggers Castro....they dont like change...dont understand the membership idea.. Just want to buy there pass for the same seat since the kc move Its all to much hassle for them as it will be for many others Me...i wont go if theres no cheap tickets for kids...its worse then the stupid name change crap I look foward to hearing what all the supporters groups will say or do. The future generation of fans is in danger of vanishing. Bastards
You won't have trouble getting tickets for most away games in the Championship, we rarely sell out our allocation nowadays.
This is what I find the most shocking personally, they just keep on increasing prices. It's absolutely absurd. We lost thousands of fans last year largely because of the prices and these memberships appear to be another hike, for a lot of people anyway. Yet on top of all that, the matchday prices will be considerably higher. **** me. There seems to be a belief at the club that it's just the done thing to smash prices through the roof every year, regardless of demand. We're already seriously suffering for that this year but the way it's going, we're going to be playing games in front of less than 10,000 before too long.
What advantages are there from a membership scheme? On a ticket related note, why don't they use the system train stations use? One steward and 1000's of people an hour through a few gates with minimal queues.
As promised, here's the HCST survey about the membership scheme. http://hullcitysupporterstrust.com/hull-city-membership-scheme/
Survey done! After the Airco fiasco and the name change saga, I decided not to let another penny of my money go to these two clowns, this stupid scheme just shows why. The bad publicity coming from away fans is going to be considerable. Supposedly from a man who is on record as saying football should be free. You couldn't make it up!
Phil Buckingham's poll on Twitter currently has 66% saying they won't join, obviously that won't be reflected in the actual numbers, but it's not a good start.
A lot, as you say, are old buggers. Old buggers who took the time and effort to travel forty odd miles to Hull all through the bad times when the public of Hull couldn't be bothered to travel 2 or 3 miles across the city. Yes, let's lose these types and replace them with people who applaud Man Utd off the bus, who rush on the pitch and mob Gerrard, who applaud Rooney. All during the bad times when crowds were 3 or 4,000 I used to go, have a few drinks with some on here and CI, watch a load of crap but enjoy the company of like minded individuals, most of who only saw each other at City games as that was our one common connection, and have a "match day experience" preferable to what is endured rather than enjoyed nowadays. No matter how bad the team was, or how crap the owners and board were it was still our club which we would defend against sneering twats. Now I, and I know others from those days feel the same, feel a total lack of connection to the club. People I never thought would stop going have called it a day and it will only get worse.
If anyone wants a personalised version of this file uploading, i.e. OAP or under 12, or under 18, together with their relative stand/seat block let me know. Obviously those single selfish adults who save money need not apply..... https://www.docdroid.net/o8zlG0T/no-to-the-membership-scheme-u12-e6.pdf.html

Survey done Fight no concessions tooth and nail I boycott the kc stadium next season till concessions are brought back We talk of kids for a quid and the ****s come up with this Its a sick in the head scheme 9000 empty seats and the bastards want to charge young uns MORE !!! I think we all think the same way on this one.
I don't think anyone has mentioned that the brochure highlights seniors going to zone 1 to make a saving and that young adults 19-22 go to zone 1 as well. Everyone knows that seniors nearly always like to remain seated and some are unable to stand, so how could anybody be so thoughtless as to propose 19-22 year olds who are likely to want to stand, to be located in the same zone? Only people who are clueless regarding football supporting habits could make such an obvious error.
Even if this was a good idea (which it f******g isn't) who the hell put together that brochure? Can anyone shed some light on this, I can't see any details. Am I to take it that the prices given are for the two-stripe "home" band? But one-stripe "match by match" is also considered a membership with a card and stadium access; so how much is it to get that level, and what is the difference between that, and just randomly going in and booking a ticket? If there is no difference, does that mean that for anyone who wants a ticket, but doesn't have a card; the club's official policy to them is that they can **** off? Considering people have less than a fortnight to buy to retain their current seats, how can they possibly not know what is being offered by a three-stripe package? They don't even have a price for it. They're just telling is it exists. Is there anything - at all - positive about this scheme?
It will be lovely to bring the two groups together. It's diversity at its finest. The fogeys will have their spirits raised by having young chaps (and chappesses of course) there to tell the deaf ones what the announcer said and go to get bovril for the ones shaky on their pins. The young uns will love listening to stories about rationing and laces in leather footballs Big society
