Due to the lack of game time this yearit may be a hard one to pick
    but i'd go

    1) Gray
    2) Amertey
    3) Schlupp

Schlupp as he played the most and was first choice before his injury.

Gray will get U21 player of the year.

Non have done too much as they haven“t played alot. I guess Schlupp will get it but it seems abit of a waste of time this season tbh.

Chillwell deserves a shout for his progression. Is mahrez/Kante young enough to be 'young'?

It's the one downside of this season, non-first team players, especially young ones, haven't had the potential to really prove themselves. None of those three have played all that much, but have looked strong when they have. Schlupp's had a poor season overall, especially compared to last, but that's mainly down to injury. It's a shame he's succumbed to it again because he looked decent when he came on in a few of our recent matches, Norwich especially. I'd give it to Schlupp, but would like to see all three of these play more next season (I'm sure they will).

I think with the lack of young players featuring too much, I'd say Dodoo or Chilwell purely for breaking into the first team at such a time. It's a lot harder than when you're playing in a lower division

The young players that broke into the team/made a significant impact are:

Jeff Schlupp - he was both the young player of the year and players player of the year in 2015 so could win again
Demarai Gray - only came in Jan but has impressed coming off the bench
Daniel Amartey - only came in Jan as well but has has one start and made in impact off the bench
Ben Chilwell - hasn't made a league appearance but has featured in the cups
Joe Dodoo - made one league appearance but made a great impact in the cups where he scored a hatrick again Bury.

While we don't have an old squad we don't have a young squad so the young player is a hard one. It has to be between Gray and Schlupp. The problem with Gray is he has only made cameo appearances while Jeff is more established in the team but he missed a large part of the season through injury
