Bit of a random one but I used to work for Safestyle doing door to door canvassing, and the guy you're on about (Jeff Brown) actually came down from Burnley to teach us our pitch, and me and my pal, like you, thought he was going to be a complete and utter twat. But he was actually a proper good laugh and a really top bloke, shows how perceptions can be so off sometimes <ok> Think he done a prostate cancer ad recently too.

As for adverts I liked the Euro 2004 (i think) McDonalds ones... "You are recycling! You are Recycling!" "Pigeon, pigeon" Can't find clips anywhere though.

Yeah I know <laugh> I mainly posted that pic as well to confirm grandpops statement that he's got one of those faces that you just really wanna smack, was suprised at how well I got on with him though and how laid back he was.

He was banned from saying "you buy one, you got one free!" in the office though <laugh>

Charlie the cat safety adverts were brilliant , the cat was about 7 foot tall and the kid could understand every thing he said. Tufty the squirrel was similar. Alvin stardust as a road safety bloke. Pertunia and Fred I think they called them, the one where he's looking through bino's at the sea and see's this bloke in a sailing dingy shouting for help while she's stuffing her face with a cornet.
