Well there'll be a new right back playing at the SoL on the 12th June... ME!!

Play on the pitch is a great idea - I'm playing with some of my mates in June and it'll be class! Let's see if I can be any worse than Billy Jones...

Marcus, if you manage to stick a cross in the box during the game you will be 100% better than the current SAFC right backs.

How does it work Marcus? I was just saying to my dad before the last match that one of my lifetime wishes is to play footy on that turf.

Never mind just looked it up, sounds like a great deal for less than a hundred quid each. Enjoy it mate.

Everything looks so easy from the terraces or up a height but I got to pitch level a couple of times and the view is sooooooooooooo different across the hugh pitch.

Surely it'll be a short match. Could you leg around for 90 mins?

I used to often play on Roker Park pitch. Not legally mind. Security chasing us all over<laugh>

It was so easy to climb into that ground..

My mate was looking into that. He said it's pricey. How much is it per person.

My birthday June 12th if anyone drops out that would be a great present ;-)

Just thought. Do they film it so you can watch/buy the video?

Be class if you scored a screamer

Think you'll have to arrange your own filming but this is what you do get:

A spokesman for the club said: "For £1500 + VAT per team, a squad of 18 will have use of SAFC’s dressing rooms, a warm up session on the pitch, and the added addition of a referee and linesman to make sure everything goes smoothly.

"In true matchday style a Man of the Match presentation will reward the stars of the day, each team will also have access to the Stadium’s Players’ Lounge and Quinn’s Sports Bar plus will receive a souvenir team photo to commemorate the day. A post-match players’ meal with bar facilities will then top off the memorable experience."

    Pretty sweet deal I reckon.
