It wasn't for good publicity for Sunderland fans, J.C. :emoticon-0145-shake

If it ever appears in The Echo it will (should, but this is the press so it could be completely inaccurate <laugh>) show that it publicises 'NOT606' and the generosity of various football fans, yours and Tel's included (mentioning both specifically), that contribute to our forum :emoticon-0105-wink:

I made it clear that it wasn't to promote the 'wonderfulness' of Sunderland fans, and I also told them that the idea came from a 'United fan (without mentioning his name) . . . . I hope that this makes you feel better :emoticon-0100-smile

Oh don't worry GA, I'm not upset that Sunderland might get a good rep out of it ;) I wouldn't want any credit whatsoever, I had no intention of saying I had donated until things went a bit far. I just felt we strayed away from Terry's initial gesture, that was all. I wasn't sure what the overall aim of the publicity was. You were just doing what was voted on, no problems here with me.
