Off Topic Official DC Mafia Game

Not sure yet. Just got home and had food so going to scan the thread to see what everyone is saying and if there's anything that I think classes as suspicious behaviour.

 

Right. Voting for Chaos. Too much flip flopping, claiming roles, generally being a liability for town. If he is a Mason as he has claimed, he will need at least two votes to be up for lynch, since he and his partner will vote the same person. If he isnt, then he is lying and will have at least 3 votes (masons plus mine).

I think there are a few strong town leads in terms of helpfulness. I'm hoping vigilante is amongst them, or at least not spouting off on here drawing attention to themselves . No idea who they should go for though. Perhaps hit a quiet one? The issue is that we can't afford to hit someone we are all voting for anyway so we need vigilante to be keeping up.

Iris did well if that number was a code, though the hack possibility exists. We have to wait till week three at a minimum to figure out if it was hacked. Week two could either confirm legitimacy or be hacked.

I've tried to explain this a thousand times before during mafia games. I'm not 'quiet', its that that I am at work until 5pm (even later if I'm doing overtime) and by the time I come online most people have decided who they are voting for and have gone offline so I can't persuade them to change their mind and I can't get involved in 5 hour old arguments with people who aren't even online.

Thinking about the voting mechanic I have a possible plan.

We can choose roles to vote for particular people. The mayor can then investigate. He can then keep the information for himself until he chooses is the best time to reveal.

This way voting in secret will be like claiming a role in secret.

Of course who should vote for who will be openly stated on the forum, so the scum can bluff and vote too, but that's fine since anyone voting for a particular person is making a definite claim for a role and can be checked later.

ALL Vanillas AND ONLY vanillas vote for DPP
ALL Masons AND ONLY masons vote for Chaos
Vigilante AND ONLY Vigilante vote for Valley
Journalist AND ONLY Journalist vote for Lucaaas

Personally, I wouldn't mind Astro getting investigated at some point, just a gut feeling.

Fine by me, we can do my vote plan from tomorrow (or the rest of you can if I die) properly, but we can try also tonight to get some more information. It won't be perfect starting so late but let's try.

We just need to decide who should be the main target for the vanillas to vote for, I suggest DPP or ACS tonight.

BTW obviously the mayor can vote for who he thinks is most guilty and not reveal his own vote.
