Finally someone with a bit of sense has posted.
As I said you cannot compare Carroll and Aguero as they offer different things.Suarez and Aguero being similar type players is a better comparison.

It is not Carroll's fault that Liverpool paid such a ridiculous fee for him, he is a good Player and will do well for Liverpool I am sure.

But if the OP was simply comparing Value For Money, it's a no contest.

Aguero is on a completely different level to Carroll and Suarez. He is genuinely World Class.

    Why is that Ricardo Lux/Lettuce?
Is it because he has ''pace''.

You should go to the Sunderland board next and ask them who they'd rather have - Craig Gardner or Nuri Sahin

How do you assess value for money in a footballer?
And whatever criteria you use, it doesn't matter because it's all down to what happens in the future.
    Wait and see.

KPR, my name is David Schofield.

I post under it, and nothing else.

And yes, Aguero's pace is a major factor in my assessment, however, he has virtually no weaknesses in his game, he is in every sense a World Class Player.

David, is Aguero left footed? If you say yes, then you are Lettuce. If you say no, then you aren't.

He really isn't, you must be muddling him up with Reyes in your old age or something.

Aguero doesn't exactly score a world class number of goals and that's in a league that doesn't defend. And he sets up almost none.

His record for country is fairly mediocre as well.

Would those points be considered weaknesses to the perfect, 'world class' player?

Tevez or Aguero should surely be the question? Answer Tevez every time!!!

To be fair Aguero is very good with his left foot so I can see why someone might make that mistake. Or maybe your getting him mixed up with his father-in-law.

Either way, Aguero is definitely right footed though.

I posted on this thread earlier and on coming back to it I can now see that ex-pat was just fishing for someone like KPR.

Ex-pat you post some good stuff at times but these tactics are what gets up the Liverpool fans nose.

But he wasn't for sale in January.

Your simple question has been answered. Answers are a simple concept.

Again I say to you, Carroll or Torres? It's a simple question put simply for a simpleton so simply answer it.

How about I put it differently: Aguero or Tevez?

Oh wait, it's an irrelevance because Tevez is grumpy and sulky and about to bugger off back abroad. It's a bummer when that happens, huh? Yeah, we had Mascherano and Alonso and they both buggered off, too. Torres has been an irrelevance at Chelsea, like Robinho was an irrelevance to the Premier League and like your opinion on Aguero is an irrelevance to Liverpool FC.
