Result was everything today. Not a great performance by any means. The defence and central midfield were immense - again. Mahrez may have been tightly marked but he didn't do enough without the ball either. Slow to get back and defend. He doesn't look up for the fight at the moment. Vardy on the other hand has no such problems. His first touch for the opening goal was superb, and he's definitely not showing signs of nerves. The fact that he didn't go down under the challenge for the second goal probably saved the defender from being sent off, and another great finish. I think Okazaki needs stabilisers. I've never seen a player spend so much time on his backside.

    I know, what a total end !
Makes me smile when he preaches what should and shouldn't be a penalty ! Ffs he was one dirty player in his day even though you could get away with shed loads then !

Great pass from Drinkwater to Vardy for that goal ...and it wasn't even Drinkwater's best play of the day .
That was when he ran the bottom of his cleats down Cattermole's leg after a harsh tackle toward Drinkwater .
Cattermole's knew he deserved it too .

Nah, i think the threat he possesses attracts more opposition players and allows more space for players around him.

Its his turn to work his magic next game anyway ... 1-0 win <ok>

Those final 7 or 8 minutes of that game were lovely to watch, instead of just trying to run the clock down our players just passed it around the Sunderland defence like a training drill- I don't think we were out of the final third, and some of the play was exquisite, especially that move with Amartey and Drinkwater which lead to Vardy having a chance saved. I'm glad we got that second goal just so that bit of play was justified. Credit to the three subs as well, who all came on and did jobs equal to or superior to those they replaced- Amartey and Gray look like inspired signings, and Ulloa was very intelligent in a way I haven't seen often from him this season.

Ulloa kept the ball better than i've ever seen him do before. Fair play to him.

As for scoring the second. I had Leicester to win by 1 goal so I was pretty pissed off <laugh>

I had us to win 2-0 in the Prediction League but I lost about 50 quid thanks to Vardy's antics.

    Bloody cheek.

... I never bet on them ... I'm not overly superstitious ... just something I've never done (unless our games have been on the Millionaire coupon - then I've always screwed up as I couldn't ever put us down to lose <laugh>)

I've never really done it before until this season so you've all got me to thank.
