So he made a mistake and scored an own goal. After the decision to drop Curtis yesterday, who for me has generally played well over recent weeks, and for what at face value was a single mistake, does this mean back to the sub's bench for Harry come next Friday?

Simply too slow mate. How many cards does he get for holding his opponent?

Would say the first goal was more bad defending as a team, a few individuals were out of position etc etc

The own goal is unfortunate - it happens, but I'd still have Curtis in again next week

Davies didn't get dropped for one mistake, he got dropped because he was poor against Derby.

Brucie dropped Macca for being motm at Burnley last year - then he dropped him for weeks because he complained - Brucie would rather **** up the team rather than back down from a petty squabble

Too much of a carthorse I'm afraid. Maguire is a player who flatters to deceive but is defensively lacking. Davies and Bruce are better defenders.

Harry played pretty well yesterday, depends what's wrong with Dawson really as to whether Curtis comes back in, he was certainly the best of our defenders, his simple willingness to take the ball forwards which Bruce and Dawson looked very advers to doing was a great positive. Only 2 bad performances yesterday I thought, Elmo and Robbo.

Curtis should have been playing instead of Junior anyway - one of the reasons we let two goals in was because Junior left his marker and charged out onto the right and was left in no-mans land and totally failed to cut out the cross - in addition it didn't help his case when he blazed over just before half time when it was easier to score - what I think about Junior in the team is well documented -yesterday he was worse than usual - at one point I gave him credit for the cross for Diomande's goal until I saw the massive deflection - I should have known he couldn't do something right

Didn't Bruce get the assist on our second yesterday? I thought Bruce and Maguire played ok. As mentioned above Elmo and Robbo let us down.

Thought Bruce Jnr did ok yesterday. Certainly not the worst performer out there. Though wouldn't expect anything else from Charon.

Elmo looked like he'd never played football before. His attitude yesterday was appalling.

Agreed, and Robbo hit the shins of the defender everytime he tried to beat a man.

If you're talking about the first goal, that was massively Elmo's fault. If it's the second your'e talking about, that was also Elmo's fail

watch the highlights on the Sky Sports site - it wont let me paste here - he did a good cut out early on but for the most part he was constantly out of position and failed to stop any crosses coming in. in fact if Junior had done his job properly, Maguire wouldn't have even needed to head it - incidentally, his miss was one of the worst I've ever seen and as for 'provided an assist' for the second goal, arf, massive deflection

Harry seems to be a popular lad because he gives his all, is imposing, likes a dribble out of defence etc, but for me he is still a bit slow, a bit impetuous and not as good as Davies or Dawson. Feel Davies and Dawson is the one bit of the team that didn't need sorting in recent weeks, even if Davies had a bad night on Tuesday.

don't tell me, Junior hoofing it over the bar when he had an empty net to go for was also Elmo's fault
