Brentford have scored three in their last two games, can we turn things around and hit the net at last? The dice say 1-2
2-0 loss. I have no faith that Mick can send a team out to do anything other than spoil a game of football.
Gotta be honest perhaps the first game under Mick I couldn't have given a toss of the outcome in many respects. While I DO want us to win and hope Wendy/ Derby/ Cardiff can collapse it does appear the most unlikely situation possible but I guess Leicester winning the league shows pigs can fly so sod it. I think 1-1 draw and season nearer to being over though!
Just not another 0-0 bore draw! Maybe the pressure is off us a little and the players will want to prove a point after the negativity lately, but I don't have much belief and, as others have mentioned, not a lot is really riding on this game. While we're not mathematically out of the play-off reckoning, we have no momentum, no form, underperforming players, a negative manager, and some difficult away games coming up. Having said all that, I actually fancy us to win this. 2-1.
You know what'll happen...we'll win, and one of Wendy or Derby will draw, just to tease us and prolong the agony
Douglas not starting, a changed back four and no Bish on the bench. Will we see a different result/performance with a changed team? I hope so.
Kind of sums up our recent form and attitude....hope MM sorts it out. All depressing really. Another defeat and upset crowd might just spark a serious re-think of the Club's future. Derby et al want it more. If...if we do get a result, then amazingly and undeservedly we still have a chance in the home straight.....talking of which, its that time of year at Aintree again.
We are stuck at the moment, just too off quality for any sustained challenge at top6, but good enough to stay in this division for another 15 years!
