Not a very well kept secret that we suck at set pieces . Taylor and Rangel are as weak a link to the problem as anyone IMO.
With a 3 man defence you generally have 3 Central defenders , all generally schooled in the art of heading the ball .
With Taylor and Rangel not playing and already bringing in a new CB that leaves another spot for another player to be brought in ....let's say a striker . Strikers are also generally schooled in the art of heading the ball .
Now you have 5 players of heading capability , instead of 3 ...Williams , Amat , Fernandez , Paloschi and Gomis .
We would have a better chance to stop set piece problems at our end including corners and a better chance to solve our scoring chances at their end from set pieces and corners ..Just a thought .

Not a bad shout. Bony used to somehow be in the right place to clear incoming corners at least 75% of the time.

I'm tiring of that feeling I get before every corner and every attacking free kick in our end , that they are going to score .
    I can't shake it , every bleeding time ..... It's not a healthy way to watch a game .
This has been the single biggest downfall to our game IMO and it seems we do nothing to improve ... Season after season .

What about the feeling when we get a corner. I remember in the old days everyone stamping their feet in excitement in the old West stand when we had a corner. These days I just think what's the point of our centre backs coming forward. I know they have scored one a piece recently but that's the first for a couple of years it seems.
