Racing comes from Glorious Goodwood, Nottingham, over the jumps at Stratford and Irish racing from Galway. The evening offers you Ffos Las and Epsom Downs.

Apologies for putting this up early bit I am out tomorrow morning and wanted to give you all a couple of winners

215: Boogie Shoes ran a nice race on Derby Day and still looked quite green so another chance is given to him from the Roger Varian yard. 12s guaranteed looks a fair EW price

245: Amour Propre will be very well selected by the racing press and will take the beating however I am willing to give one last chance to GROUP THERAPY who at 12s looks a nice price.

315: Montaff ran a cracking race LTO to finish close up behind the ever improving Tominator. He will need luck in running here as his style of coming from behind is not suited to this track but 25s EW is far too big!

455: Dimension from Skeletors yard is still improving.

525: Finally we finish off with a tricky HCap and ART HISTORY from the Mark Johnston in form yard is way too big at 14s.

    Be Lucky all <cheers>

I really fancy Kingsgate Native to bounce back to his best and win the sprint.

Saying that I fancy him to come close but I would say Masamah is his biggest threat imo!

    Nott.
2.35 Al Mahmeyah (another Teofilo filly)
    3.05 Eastern Hills
4.05 Set To Music (Nap) if still 9/4 as forecast. Could end up odds on in which case I will revise tomorrow. 9/4 looks far too generous.

    Godwood
2.15 Must stick with my old fav Fulgur
2.45 Could Swiss Diva return to her old form (making it a quick double for Fallon)
    3.15 Opinion Poll
    3.45 Wild Coco (nb)
    4.20 Perfect Delight
    4.55 Tuscania
    5.25 Reflect

Morning all many thanks for the kind words i hope a few did well out of him, its about time,
    just the one for me

    Johnnys Legacy (IRE) 5:30 Galway
Reportedly strengthened up well over the winter and plenty to like about opening two starts this year at Dundalk. Came home well when runner-up over an inadequate mile before encountering plenty of traffic problems when upped to an extended 1m2f on the polytrack. Appears on a reasonable mark.

Dan you the man - BPG rules <ok>

    3 horses today for me:

2.15 Goodwood Oceanway (backed e/w) - typical Mark Johnston improver who was just touched off at Ascot 6 days ago. Johnston's horses are nothing if not tough and I expect here to be absolutely cherry-ripe for this. Running off 91 again (same as last week) and De Sousa keeps the ride which is a massive plus in my view. Several in this field have been creeping up the weights without winning, and I am wary of the Britannia Handicap form given the ground that day, so I am taking a chance that Oceanway is still improving.

3.45 Goodwood Wild Coco - looks a very smart filly having taken the step up to Listed company last time and beaten a decent yardstick in Meeznah. No doubt we will see further improvement today and she should have enough to see off Field Of Miracles.

5.30 Galway - have had a dabble of Ste Doran's info re the Dermot Weld horse Teach Nua. Looks potentially thrown in off 65 having had a nice pipe-opener at Fairyhouse a couple of weeks ago and the trainer loves to have a winner at Galway, suggesting he may have been laid out for this (the horse not the trainer).

Good luck to all today <ok>

woolcombe do you know of a decent website where draw bias is documented? I would usually ask Nass but I know he isn't around today.

Umm... not really- I use the racing post app on my Iphone- which usually documents thier draws(not all the time). More websites should include it- because it is important!

Oceanway for me as well today.

Incidentally, a colleague is going on Saturday and has asked me for advice - i have told him not to back anything I might like. Can anyone tell me what the general draw bias is for the big handicap races please and if there is any age to either look at or avoid for the Stewards cup?

    Thanks

I'm going to the St Leger this year! Hoping for an AoB victory in the big race depending on who he enters.

Good luck at THIRK hasselburg. How often do you attend these race meetings in norway then??

No draw bias required for my big tip today.ELECTROLYSER to win the goodwood cup-16-1 is a highly celubrious price for a horse primed for the race since last year.
