Something really needs to change, the negativity and apathy around the club is awful. Along with the ticket fiasco. A new manager with a new approach might revitalise us and bring back some enjoyment to supporting City.
Tim Sherwood is an excellent shout but I dont think he will come north of the divide. Personally, I think our best bet is Curbishley.
I think sherwood would, it'd be a no lose situation for him Curbs wont manage again, he's waited for that big job to long A lot will depend on how the footballing world of managers view the Allams
I do think a managerial change is now imperative. There's an apathy at the club, there's no fight and it is some of the worst football I have watched for years.
Can't believe I'm saying this... get Brownie in - at least there'll be a bit of passion and a boot up their arses.
I have been SB's biggest supporter and have defended him when others have been calling for his head. After that capitulation tonight even I have had enough. If this squad of players fails to get us into the play offs (and we are only 6 points ahead of Cardiff, could be down to 3 on Saturday) then that will be an absolute disgrace. The last 2 months have been awful for a team supposedly chasing an automatic spot and that has to come down to the management team. Time for the players to show some professional pride over the next 7 games and get us into the play offs. Whether we go up via that route or not, I agree SB will now leave in the summer - probably best for both parties - and he'll go with our thanks for all he achieved (at least in the first 2 years). Hopefully then we will get someone in who can attract some decent strikers and get the best out of whatever remains of the current squad in time for next season's assault on promotion or fight to escape relegation - depending what league we are in.
He mentioned tiredness. I think he his now drumming this tired excuseb to far. If he's pushing this into the players heads theres no wonder theyre off the pace
