I tend to agree, though he played well for Wales the other night. I'm not convinced he's better than what we have.

He plays much better for Wales than he does Liverpool. Why? Because they play him in his best position in the middle where he dictates the tempo etc.
For Liverpool he has Henderson, Milner, Lucaas and Lallana filling up his space. He's never had a fair chance at Liverpool.
For me, he's the only Leon type player out there.

and Leon is???????, why try and replicate, look for better and imo Joe cant get in the side because he is not good enough which says a lot because I would not call Milner et al great players

Could use another good striker , there is one at Lille on loan at the moment , 4 goals in 7 appearances so far this season .
Should sent a couple of scouts to take a look

4 goals in 7 games? You're having a laugh. We need a top class striker who is capable of getting 10-20 goals.

4 goals in 7 doesn't mean much. Look at Gomis back in September.

Looks like we are after Angella from Watford , on loan to QPR ...CB .Huge Guido influence on this one .
Right and left back with Naughton and Kingsley cover .
Thought Ki 's play dropped after his injury but was good up till ...Keep .
    Cork ...keep
    Siggy...keep
    Britton keep .
Barrow , Routs , Montero and Ayew enough
    Maybe another DM .
Someone to push Paloschi , be it Eder if Guido takes another look at him. Or someone new .Eder has 4 goals in 7 games on his loan spell .
    Outs .
Gomis , Tabanou , Emnes and Taylor .

I don't know anything about the Watford player. Never heard of him.

"Barrow , Routs , Montero and Ayew enough"

What does that mean? Keep or ship out? Not being funny but I really don't know.

[Edit: Just read 'Outs' below so I take it you'd keep 'em]

    Under a bus? <whistle>

We need a world class striker. Anything other than a quality striker and we'll be buggered next season.

We have a world class striker , we just don't know it yet .Wehave enough midfielders , including wingers if we sign Fer.
Paloschi just needs a bit of help .
Defence and strategy is where we need fresh blood and ideas IMO .

Defence doesn't win game. Goals do, and we need a striker who will get goals. Palo is a decent back up, but he's not good enough to lead the line week in, week out imo.

Hence why we need somebody who is good enough now.

Paloschi is very decent, can control the ball relatively easily, unlike Gomis, and can turn and shoot on a sixpence, unlike Gomis. A great addition to our team but I've seen nothing yet to suggest he's world class. If he keeps going and improves week on week who knows? I'll actually feel sorry for him if a more established guy comes in because he's doing well imo. I hope Gomis buggers off but we need more than one striker.

A strong defence is number one priority without it you will lose too many games, ask Newcastle and Blackpool when they were up and virtually all the managers and pundits who appear on TV say the same thing.. People think of Vardy when they mention Leicester but the pundits always pick out Huth and Morgan as well.

A well balanced side is the key, It is no good having a good striker doing his job and scoring goals if the defence is poor and vice versa, we need a good balance not necessary the best strikers or the best defence but a well disciplined well balanced team that play as one with confidence....

The defence is doing ok defensively , but were long overdue of some sort of attack out of them to . Rangel , Taylor and Naughton do nothing in the attack or set pieces .Good crosses are far and few between . Taylor passes back and Rangel gets caught going forward .
LB , RB and CB are my biggest wishes .
The midfield is ok , Paloschi is good , he'll be a lot better when the whole team improves with time .
I want a high jumping , goal hungry at the right time defence that can cross a ball most times .
The play of Taylor and Rangel/Naughton is holding us back and should be addressed the first few weeks of summer IMO .

Our inability to defend at set pieces this season has highlighted how effective Bony was in dealing with corners/free kicks.
