I havent a clue, based from what I have seen of pre-season everyone has been decent, each have their own obvious strengths and weaknesses, who do you think... I'm swaying between Krul and Harps because I thought Forster was rather flappy coming for corners, apart from that I'm just not sure.

    What do we think?

Torn between Krul & Harper. Forster can go on loan to Norwich again or somewhere.

Like the last two posters i'm torn between Harper and Krul. I've gone for Harper's experience to start us off though. Forster to go on loan.

Harper is too solid to ignore. Not even getting sentimental over his long wait, he is still our best keeper. Krul is a more than capable number two though and 2012/13 will be when his time comes but Harper has done nothing to lose the shirt in my opinion.

Forster is the real headache, a third quality keeper who I just don't think we have space for. We should loan him out again but I can fully imagine him being upset by it, could end up at Celtic permanently.

I'm a sentimental guy so I want it to be Harper, but it has to be Krul. He finished last season with the #1 shirt and since then has become a full international for the Netherlands.

Krul was pretty epic in the last few games of last season. If he keeps that up, I'd have him as our number one.

  7. Krul is the best keeper ability wise, Harper is the most consistant, Forster is alright but not in the same bracket as Harper as Forster. Me thinks Ode Soderberg should play vs Leeds, and if he shows potential, just sell Forster, so we have 2 good keepers and 1 developing young one.

Voted Harper for next season but Krul will be the better keeper in a few years.

I'm going against the current trend and think that Forster has more potential than Krul and so am opting for him. He's the only goalie at the club in last number of years that I have seen progress on their main weaknesses.

Krul/ Harper. Forster worries me big time at crosses.

  14. A bit unfair don't you think? Apart from a couple of mistimed catches/jumps, Krul has been awesome.

Experience is everything for Keepers, Krul needs a loan at a club like Celtic (switch roles with Forster) and then I think he will be ready. At the moment I think it would be suicidal to start with anyone other than Harps. In 1 or 2 seasons Krul and Forster will be ready to battle it out <ok>

as good as i think krul could be i still think he's not solid enough from set peices (this was really shown up at chelski) still think harps edges it on quality and experience loyal servant!

Krul without a doubt. By far our best keeper. He has really matured. The experienced he gained last season and this summer(with Holland) has clearly brought him on leaps and bounds.

    1. Krul
    2. Harper
    3. Forster
