Look at the league and I'd say that answers your question....and it's not full backs who are our problem IMO. We haven't had a proper centre back pairing since H and H and for years it's cost us. You can have two average full backs next to two class centre backs but you can't have two average centre backs no matter how good your full backs are.
I don't see Lallana starting next year, and I think Firmino could be used more as the false 9. Plus we'll be selling Benteke and Mario.
There are strong rumours that Skrtel is off to China this summer, plus caulker and will be gone. There is space for two more defenders - Matip as one and I'm hoping we go for someone like Jonathan Tah at Leverkusen. As Billy said, we need to build the base of the team. Costa has no pace. Maybe if we got him before Atletico did his hamstring ok but I felt the 3 behind made it for him last year and this year chelsea have really suffered.
