Hope other entertainment businesses don't get rid of the age pricing differentials.

You haven't read it properly. Their grandson goes with them as well, so that is one increase for grandad, a small decrease for son the size of which is depending where they sit and a large increase for the grandson wherever they sit. So they will be out of pocket anywhere from a fair bit to a whole lot.

It seems to imply that the group can reallocate the total cost out between themselves in a fair way. You know, like most places do in the first place for you.

Fez, as I have always paid for our family's three tickets as gifts, next season I would be significantly out of pocket.
I know a lot of family groups do the same. Big issue unless changed.

I know and understand the problem, but there are no set buying groups, which is the mistake I believe some make in assuming overall gains/losses. A grandad, who can only buy his own, will not have his loss of concessions offset by his son's reduction in adult price, as his son only pays for his own and his own son, who also has lost a concession. There will be lots of variations and, unless the format changes, the proposed scheme makes no sense whatsoever.
I might be wrong, but, depending on location of seats, your particular case of buying three, probably stands more chance of an improved overall price. Time will tell.

I am gonna e mail the allams and ask them if they will personally come and tell my son that after 79 years combined support, him and his grandad can no longer afford afford to go. Cheers!

I've already mailed the club asking for clarification of how much I will pay for my three tickets next season.
Mailed Monday last week,no answer as yet.

I don't think you will get a reply, they will not release any price details to individuals. You will have to wait like the rest of us. It might sound blunt, but that is the long and short of it.

Tiger 2008 + Lakeside View echo my position. I have been watching City since I was first taken by my father in 1957. Had a season pass for perhaps thirty five years of that time + have regularly travelled away since January 1965. I take my 13 year old grand-daughter + we sit in the upper west. I was planning to take my grand-daughters friend who is also 13 next year. I am afraid they will lose three attendees next season, two of which are potential fans for life unless we are willing to move to a vastly inferior set of seats. I have found myself seething over the advertising slogan ' Earn your stripes'. I think have earned my stripes many times over. The club have had many thousands of pounds off me over the years in season passes, cup tickets, programmes, + merchandise.
I did a straw poll before, during + after the match in both the upper + lower west with the many people I know who were there. I could not find anyone that was intending to renew there pass. Obviously some will change their minds because there lifelong support for City will be too strong to let them stop going but the vast majority will I feel will not be there next year. At the moment I am intending to just go to away matches as I cannot bear the thought of completely abandoning my team completely just because of two prats.

He should have got a reply, thanking him for his message, his points are being taken on-board and an official announcement of the revised membership scheme will be made shortly/next week.

Once again for a multi million pound business they are leaving themselves wide open for criticism.

In which case I believe they'll be paying the same as this year and again won't be out of pocket.

Due to the delay in the summer re. the name change decision I've not been to the KC this season. In truth, I'm really surprised at how little I've missed it - the money I've saved on my two passes has more than covered petrol and ticket costs for my away fixtures, the ''away fan'' doesn't seem to be quite as fickle as the home one, I'm sure you'll enjoy it ....... it's a shame it's come to this but, whatever happens at the KC I'm finished with it for good**.

**Apart from when Rod Stewart comes to town!

How do you come to that conclusion as you don't know where they are sitting or where they will end up next year?

I truly feel for you. I really do.

Football was a big part of the quality time I spent with my daughter, and had been since she joined me in something my parents got me in to decades before, and I carried her for the whole match for games at Boothferry Park because she was so young. This was in the era when some of our "lifelong" fans my own age couldn't make games. Her list of grounds visited was long and varied, and something she was proud of.

We got very short notice about the evictions, and at a time when we couldn't gather up the crowd we'd shared so much with since the move to the KC to plan together. In the past, we'd ended up paying extra to stay in our seats in our community, when the club relocated the family stand. That was our choice.

A few of us managed to sort things ourselves, but it was just never the same again. We didn't want to be in the north for a number of reasons, some similar to those when we chose to pay more rather than go in the south when it became the family stand, such as it limited the chances to catch up with other family and friends sat in the east. The middle of the east was nothing compared to what we had, and my daughter stopped going as the matchday experience was a shadow of what it had been for years for us.

Throughout, I was regularly told I was just whinging, or worse by fellow fans.

Hopefully, the ridiculous decision will be reversed. and the fears will be unfounded. If not, I fear it'll be too late, as it was for many long term fans after the evictions.

To be told I should look forward to a scheme that suggests I need to 'earn my stripes' is as you say, offensive in the way it just ignores all the years before.

At least some people are now starting to see why some of us were pissed off at the time.

My advice is, IF the revised scheme is still as crap, do what you can to sort things for yourself, and get as many like minded souls together as a group and approach the club as we did. Don't wait for others to do it for you. They won't, if anything it's the opposite.

Spoken with so many people who have been forced into a corner about supporting City and into considering decisions they never thought they'd have to take. People who survived the Dolan/Fish years or before that the Mike Smith relegation into Division, people like many on here who have earned their stripes 10 times over. People who were following the Tigers before Assem Allam even arrived in this country.
Some have chucked it altogether, some pick and choose their games, some just do aways, some carry on regardless through gritted teeth...but all of them angered by being ****ed around by the high-handed attitude of the 'my way or the highway' owners.
Ultimately, you have to come to your own decision about what suits you best out of all this. My own view is that you have to focus on what you want and screen out the **** storm that currently surrounds going to watch Hull City.

If they sit in upper West they will have to move. If they sit in middle of East Stand the new system as it stands will cost them £1476 next season compared to about £900 -£1,000 this year depending on age of grandson.
So they might , if they reallocate to an inferior position, pay less though that isn't guaranteed or pay more. Either way they will be pissed off fans. And they won't be alone. It us only to be hoped that that the club have seen sense and made massive alterations to the scheme but that is unlikely.
