I think it's the other way around! There are very few outside of Leicester supporters who don't believe that was a penalty..

It's funnier if it should have been a penalty just to see all the spurs fans crying! <laugh>

The Spuds have got no basis to complain about penalties. They were gifted the most diabolical penalty decision ever at the Etihad and took 3 points when they should have only had 1.

I just knew you'd pop up with some totally irrelevant load of crap! What took you so long?..

  7. Leicester plan to offer 25-year-olds Riyad Mahrez and N'Golo Kante £80,000-a-week contracts this summer in a bid to keep them at the King Power Stadium.(Mail)

    <doh>
Because none of the big clubs will offer them them that kind of wage.

Hence "a bid to keep them" rather than "to guarantee keeping them". Number one and two players of the year for me. Probably with Kante number one.

Sounded very much like it was the Spuds who were downing pints of the brown stuff today.

It might make them think twice. And when you say big clubs, presumably you mean Barca, Real and PSG, because all the "big clubs" in England are currently in the toilet.. Mahrez already turned down PSG, btw, so it's no certainty he's going anywhere. It will be interesting.

  11. It's a big gamble for Leicester, though, isn't it? I mean, if they do manage to keep hold of all their stars, and then they bomb next season, perhaps even fight a relegation battle, I can't imagine that anyone is going to offer the £30-£40 million that you'd get for each player, now.

On that basis you might as well cash in on Kane, Alli and Dier now.

It is not penalty in million years. His hand was in natural position within his ribs.
He didn't extend his hand at all.

    <ok>.
    Kante is this year's Matic.
Last Season it was not Hazard but Matic who was the key to our success.
Same for Leciester! it is Kante not Mahrez / Vardy. Boy glides through tackles & passes the ball like a QB.

Totally disagree. Penalty all day long, and a red card. Which is almost certainly why Oliver bottled it!

    Disrespectful and disingenuous.

Leicester's season is a perfect storm but they are top by rights, not by fluke. It's superb for football. Yet you are stupid enough to claim that fans of other clubs feel they have a right to success!

  17. Woah! Back off Cinderalla and calm down! I'm just testing some boundaries, here. This is a debating forum, not a "let's all crawl up one another's arseholes and agree on everything and pretend the world is a happy joyous place" forum!

I say it's a fluke, and that next season will prove that to be the case. My theory will be tested, as will yours that Leicester are going to be ruling the roost for the next few seasons (which is implied by your sanctimonious outburst). Easy, Tiger! Let's see who is the last man standing in this debate, this time next year.

    Pixie, bookmark this exchange.

Did you get hold of your mammy's sherry after she went to bed?

Being so bitter about Leicester having a great season does you no credit.

My being "bitter" doesn't exclude me being right.

Ok, explain how a team "flukes" an entire season without going into a sleep deprived rant about how anyone who disagrees thinks that Leicester are going to dominate Europe for years. That's the part that makes you sound bitter as well as stupid.
