Well that was ****e. WBA were completely disinterested yet still had us in their pocket, All they did was cut off and stifle our flanks and watch their CB's mop up the long balls aimed at Defoe. 4 points a drift. We're looking doomed, and deserve to go down frankly.
This is why you are a B E L L E N D!!

I think you're spot on. That WBA side was disinterested. There for the taking. Despite WBA putting absolutely no pressure on us, we still couldn't string a pass together and ball still went long to Defoe.

Why was the goal disallowed by the way? Bit far away.

Right in front of me, looked miles offside.

Sam has solved the clean sheet issue by introducing Catts, yes I know WBA were not really a true test seeing they didn't have a shot on target. Sam's next problem to solve is how to turn our possession into goals and against better opposition, yes I know it's not going to be easy, but this is why Sam gets paid the big bucks.
I had today's,game down as a must win, but looking at the rest of the fixtures today's point is not a disaster.
Norwich away is a must not loose game, obviously if we win it then happy days, Norwich are now three games unbeaten we are four games unbeaten so it's down to who blinks first, just pray it's not us.I still expect us to stay up and think Palace are not out of it yet.

I think that is absolutely 100% a must-win if we are to have any chance whatsoever of staying up now.

Agreed! Catts had a mare.

460 round trip for that.

I thought Catts had a decent enough game considering He was playing in a position He should never be put in.

I'd have picked a few before singling Catts out for being poor today, personally.

It was easier to note who wasn't bad to be honest. Borini, Khazri and big Jan put a decent shift in. That's about it for me though tbh.

Never want to see 3 DMs at home again, didn't work for me, they don't know how to advance and support an attack. Not their fault, they've just got a defensive nature and play best where Big Jan is being deployed. Lads put in a cracking display and i'm proud of them. But I think Big Sam got it wrong. The first half was a complete waste. They were there for the taking from the off imo. Love the effort. The substance was appalling.

I'd stick Kone in there as well. Though he handled Rondon with ease.

Can someone tell me a) if Berahino was playing today and b) why anyone would pay £20m for him??

I agree with previous comments too negative a set up at the outset. Catts had a good game but we needed more creativity in midfield the Khazi sub. baffled me.
