    Good point matt,
I could not get a ticket for the leeds game with my membership.
So i moaned and whinged on this forum untill Northolt sorted me out.

The fact is we have a pocky stadium and if you wanna guarantee a seat you have to be a member, and because of the pony capacity of our beloved loftus road there is not much room for members to buy extra tickets..
It sucks a bit but there is some logic in the rip off..

My main problem with whole issue is that this change is not mentioned anywhere in the renewal letter that I received. That coupled with the fact that my old membership was (I thought) still valid (till August 7). Apparently, though, when I renewed 5 days ago, that changed the terms of my existing membership. Thanks for telling me that upfront too...

In the event, I have bought another membership online (maybe there is no waiting list for existing members?) and (once I had sussed out that it had to be an "assigned" membership) got another ticket for my son.

£133.50 to see the first game of the season (not including my own membership). Ker-ching!! Thank you very much...

i too have been a member for the past few seasons / and can only attend a handful of home games / due to costs ,i.e ferry from i.o.w , petrol, hotel ,food and drink ,200-250 per game for me and my partner . just sent of for membership , think i will cancel now that i cant purchase 2 tickets . may just go to away games and give the other clubs my hard earned cash . sure no how to drive loyal supporters away those goons . [soon to sadly become an armchair fan ]l

Right then, do I renew my membership or don't I?

I had a season ticket for god knows how many years. Front row of the upper South Africa Road stand, (R A 29, I think it was)

I now live in Norfolk, & work shifts. So this limits the number of games I can get to. Also, I nearly always take one or more of my sons.

So, if I can't buy more than one ticket, what's the point?

If they're offering a discount of £5 per ticket as a member privilege, then why not let you purchase up to say, four tickets, but only discount the one.

Oh, I also missed out on Leeds tickets, queued for 5 1/2 hours on line, & still didn't get any!

I suppose you'll have to make your sons members too, so you can all get tickets?

I've renewed my membership today and bought one for my son. I thought there was 3,500 waiting list??

Does anyone know what the maximum membership number is? If it is say 6,000 then if there are 8,500 ST holders and 6,000 members, it would I guess guarantee you a ticket. If it is 25,000 then it will be a free for all for the big games like the Leeds game last season. Although I think my boss will get a bit annoyed if I spend another 5 hours trying to get on the ticket website and call the box office every 2 minutes!!!

Is there a family membership package?
If not,I think Qpr should of offered this.
Surely anyone in the Football Marketing business would realise that a lot of future fans will be generated by the parents.
Fair enough most adults can fend for themselves, so I understand the new 1 membership 1 ticket policy.
( Just to remind you, QPR are back in the Prem ;-) )
But to deny Dads, the ' rites of passage' of introducing your son to football underhandily is just simply wrong.
