Can you believe some 'people' are happy to leave their toilet mud for someone else to clean up? I don't get that, I really don't. The mucky ****s them.
Nah. He's the definition of a luxury player. Best finisher we've got but you have to carry him doing absolutely no work in normal play in the hope that something will fall to him. It says a lot about Akpom and Diomande that he's still starting every week.
Diame maybe? But not Abel he's been playing up front by himself & running his dick off! If we played 2 strikers we'd see more from him! Imo
I just can't understand how anyone watches Hernandez and concludes that he runs his dick off. You're not the only one it seems, but I find it absolutely bizarre. In the last four or five games he's barely even touched the ball. He never makes runs to get us up the pitch. He just wants to be in the middle to finish the chances. Thing is in England that doesn't work cos the strikers won't get anything to finish if the rest of the team is trying in vain to get the ball forward.
Totally agree, even Deano was on about this the other week and he was right too. If the player isn't working to get into positions then he is like you say a bit of a luxury player. His sub appearance v Middlesborough he wasn't working hard enough either
Hes virtually pedestrian compared to the workrate that the Burnley forwards put in. Bruce needs to kick him up the arse instead of telling him he's a tired little teddy.
That's bollocks. Hernandez does plenty of work, I'd like to see his distance covered stats and I bet he'd come out favourably compared to most forwards. His build up play to feet is pretty good, he's tidy on the ball and can bring players into the game. Problem is, we just smash long balls up to him most of the time when he's clearly not that type of forward.
I'd like to see them too, would have to disagree with you on that, he seems very static at times. Agree about the second part to a certain extent but we've had a few games recently with a lot of balls into the box and he's been nowhere instead you have the likes of Clucas getting in the positions (not last match of course) so it makes you wonder
Pressures cranked up a bit now with Boro winning, let's hope we can deal with it and "the occasion doesn't get to the players" as Bruce would say
At least we haven't heard the 'must win game' thing this time, at least I hope not ( I haven't heard it)
