He only has some of the worlds best players at Man U, must've been really hard for him.

Don't worry, I'm sure David Meyler, international superstar footballer of the year will save our season. Chazz will guarantee it.

Not exactly groundbreaking journalism though is it? There is a 50-50 chance that he will go! As things stand at the moment it's looking more likely he will go! Then it'll be the old Sun exclusive, we told you then!
They know as well as we do if we don't go up then it's bye-bye to Stevie!

Its the opposition fans job to call **** out of our players. Lets not do their job for them <ok>

Though i would predict if we do stay in this division and become a middling team. You'll have to stop supporting us Sterling. It will be too much of a dent to your self esteem to be associated with failure. <ok>

Let's not forget that he reckoned he managed Man U for two years and Fergie was, well, just there as well. His old club, Norwich, said no thanks, but his old pal, Bruce, threw him a well paid lifeline. Do you recall, how, in Feb 2015, Bruce reckoned Phelan was to be our saviour, our ticket out of relegation. That worked out well didn't it?

Tom Huddlestone is well respected. Is that different? Is it just Bruce and the Allams who we can't criticise?

Some things you're saying make sense; we can't possible judge the effectivity of individual backroom staff members and I agree Bruce has some very good points and it'd probably be pointless sacking him now.

But people come on here to get things off their chest. We've had a really bad run and this is exactly the right place for them to have a moan or to sensibly discuss the merits of players and yes even Bruce. It's totally separate to supporting the team at games. Messageboard post don't affect performances. As long as they're supporting the team at games and no giving them grief on Twitter or whatever, what's the problem?

I can't understand why it upsets people so much to see negative posts about the manager, particularly when we're obviously on such a bad run. Why does it not apply to Hodgson as well? England get another great result but cos it's cool to complain about him he still gets grief. How is there such a massive difference there?

Hmmmm....why must people get things off their chest online? Because they want to be 'proved right' when it all goes tits? Because they want to be seen as a shrewd pundit and analyst of Hull City?
I'm sure that all the people who post supportive stuff on here have grumbles about club personnel in real life but confine it to trusted acquaintances face to face. Reason? The club, the media and others rake over all the ****e on here and recycle it often a negative way which places additional unnecessary pressure on the team when they least need it it.
It's an unfortunate trait of people in this city that they tend to take a negative view of events (like COC17 works in progress for example) and this creates a pessimism and scepticism which often can become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Older fans on here have grown up with "City are ****e" from RL fans and local Top 4 ****s, and that's just within the city boundaries. Out there there are another 91 clubs and their fans willing us to fail and trying to prevent us making progress. It therefore goes against the grain of some of us to join in the public rubbishing of a team and a manager who still have an excellent chance of automatic promotion for only the 3rd time in 112 years. If you must have a grumble or a negative discussion where you ridicule the manager or player, can't you do it on FaceChat or Grindr or wherever it is you folks communicate these days?

If you don't like other people's opinions, a message board is not for you.

You've only been on here since January anyway.

    **** post by the way.

I dont say TH is ****. I say he's been playing **** and for a long time. I've also said he's got the most natural ability of just about anyone ever seen in a City shirt.
People on here say Steve Bruce is inept, tactically clueless, you name it. Yet look at his career, both player and manager. He's done all the FA badges but nah he's ****ing useless.

A few games and a managers sacked these days. Ye its a few seasons for Bruce. But its like gotta go, had his time. Yet everyone knows stability in management is whats needed. We're a blue collar team with a blue collar manager. It'll do for me.
Everything people are saying about Bruce, the Norwich fans were saying about Chris Hughton. He'd have taken them back, learned from his mistakes etc. He's a bloody good manager as he's showing again.
I'm sure Norwich fans will be baying for Alex Neill's head soon.

With who we are and where we are. I think we've got a manager who wants to be here and build something. I may be wrong.
He's putting the effort into the youth set up. He's bought some good young players and blended them with old heads all in an environment of a relegation depression, unsettled owners and disgruntled fans. He's seen the gates drop nearly 10,000 too.

If we cant allow a manager to have a bit of a slump after the success he brought us then there's no hope. It'll be 6 months tops from now on.

I think most fans respect Bruce but surely a forum is a good place to express tactical opinions or else what is the point of the place, just to talk about the best chippies?

My opinion on Bruce is he has a shelf-life at clubs, that's expired now and we need somebody new in with fresh opinions motivations and tactics to kick the players arses and get them going again, I hope he can go out with a bang by taking us back up and leave on a high for Aston Villa or elsewhere

I suspect that January (when we won 6/6) was a time when you wanted to share your opinions, hear other peoples opinions on what a great month it was when everybody said 'great. now we're trucking along'.., hence joining this forum. Unfortunately since then its gone **** up. As PLT says the negativity isn't taken to the ground a sense of nervousness of late definitely, I suspect the vast majority of posters on here that go to games, go with an attitude of 'hope we win/ expect us to win' and in paying good money to do so, earn the right to vent their frustration here and to 'share opinions' with others when they leave disappointed as has been the case for too long now.

Oh no it's getting worse, I thought it was just the fans who go to games but don't cheer on the team despite them not playing to their maximum ability who are responsible for the team under-performing / under-achieving.
Now those who are posting bad things on-line are also guilty.

Are the club, manager and players forbidden to use faceChat or grindr?

This is our discussion forum, not the stadium or training ground; what's wrong with voicing opinion? Stop judging everyone else and stick to football. <ok>

If we become a middling team I don't think financially we will be in very good shape unless we get a billionaire backer.

You might be alright with mediocrity but I expect a lot more from this team than we've seen in previous weeks.
