That's why I'm voting out ,clueless...us English are lucky we got the channel.. London has and always will be top of the table in Europe.
The EU has no official capital, and no plans to declare one, but Brussels hosts the official seats of the European Commission, Council of the European Union, and European Council, as well as a seat (officially the second seat but de facto the most important one) of the European Parliament. Silly Sod x
Despise him as we might, Tony Blair issues a truly terrifying, and I believe accurate, warning today. He says that ISIS must be utterly crushed and soon, otherwise recent terrorist attacks will be dwarfed. This form of Islam is only interested in dominance, not dialogue (no argument there), and worst of all, though they may not all be prepared to blow themselves up, it has millions, rather than thousands, of followers.
It's truly frightening to think that we may not be safe in any European city. I think he's right but as I posted earlier, I think it's vital that the moderate Muslims sort this out themselves, or else we will just give ISIS more ammunition to fuel their jihad against the western world.

Because it was in Iraq. And yes you are right, these lives were just as valuable as those lost in Brussels.
Wonderful hindsight from our Tone, shame he and Dubya didn't realise their unwarranted actions had consequences...
I'm no Blair apologist Sooper, but read the full article in the Sunday Times. I don't agree with it all (you wouldn't expect me to agree with a Catholic convert, would you?) but there is a lot in it that resonates with me. I actually have no problem with the Iraq war in itself, just the lies that were used to get us into it and the pathetic end game played by us and the USA. The actions were, in my opinion, warranted, they were just shockingly poorly planned and implemented.
What an absolutely shocking story about the Muslim shop keeper Asad Shah, who posted a goodwill Easter message to all his Christian customers and was stabbed to death by an extremist Muslim nutter. Has there ever been a less tolerant religion than the Muslim faith?
Yes, at times Christianity is not very tolerant. This island is a classic example. All faiths have intolerant people.
Agreed. All faiths do have intolerant people. The Islamic faith does seem to be incredibly sensitive and intolerant though.
The Irish troubles were a territorial struggle. Extreme Muslims will kill out of hand simply for mild disrespect...
