At a push yes. Hes not a bad player but the risk factor with him is high and just because you paid silly money doesnt mean you will get silly money back. What loss did you make on Keane in just 6 months? Huge for the short time you had him. Big fees dont mean big sell on fees like KPR seems to think.
Rooney is better than Suarez and you know it KPR. Little over 12 months ago you wouldnt of known who Suarez was. Rooneys also worth 50+ Million ( in todays silly money market ) Hes also been linked with £60million moves in the past. Its amazing to think how highly you guys would rate Rooney if he was one of your own. Look past his goals ( hes proven he can score shedloads if played in the right position ) and look at his assists, gameplay, drive ambition and much more.
We made no loss on Keane, due to the way the deal was structured. The paper-work deal was as follows. Liverpool paid Spurs £10 million in cash with £9 million paid the following summer and £1.3 million based on success. However 6 months later Spurs got him back. In reality,Spurs gave Liverpool back their £10 million although the paper-work will suggest that Spurs paid Liverpool £16 million with £3 million outstanding in ads-ons totalling £19 million. Its also known as cross transactions.
Anyone who posts a thread like http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/69542-Did-you-know-If-Liverpool-would-have-had-Kenny-Dalglish-as-manager-all-season... is an idiot
It's just my opinion that Liverpool have bought the white Kenwynne Jones, who stoke only paid £8 million for.
Why is that? Because he posted to show King Ken wasnt all great? If he told you King Kenny was Liverpool manager would you question him?
Another idiot tried to make out that Rooney has more skill than Suarez. I asked this question the other day,I still haven't got an answer.Has Wayne Rooney ever taken the piss out of 6 Liverpool players in the same way Suarez took the piss out of 6 Man United players?
Don't think you would get anything near that unless he has another freak season like 09/10, then possibly, but if he goes back to his usual 11 or 12 league goals then no chance.
John O'Shea nutmegged Figo and Figo back then was > the current LFC squad which makes O'Shea > Suarez.
But you constantly point to one game KPR. I don't think a United player ever has done that though to Liverpool. However, seeming as a base my opinion on more than jst that game, I personally think Rooney is better than Suarez. I do think Suarez is quality, I just think Rooney is better.
I'm waiting for an answer. Has Wayne Rooney ever taken the piss out of 6 liverpool players in the same way as Suarez took the piss out of 6 Man United players. King Eric...don't beat around the bush answer the question, has he or hasn't he? In order to do so,you must have skill...Suarez has skill...Rooney doesn't.Therefore Suarez obviously is the better player because he has something Rooney doesn't.
No, but before you start calling Suarez better than Rooney, at least give him a chance to prove that he is. From what I've seen so far he is not better, and I can't be arsed searching for any stats to prove myself right as to most people it's obvious you are just chatting out of your arse.
13 goals average and almost the same amount of assists. 25+ goals a season he contributes to roughly. Quite brilliant really for a second striker/ free roaming striker.
Diego Forlan who at the time had a fear of goals scored 2 past the world class Dudek. Thats more impressive than Suarez dribbling.
