Sell him for that money. we only paid 12m for him. The French private medical companies will be partying if he goes there.
If his fitness problem is solved he's worth more than that If his fitness problem isn't solved he's worth less than that #neutral
For that sort of money most def. When's he off? Same as ballo and benteke as well hopefully, just hope to god we don't waste the fecking money again.
What would we spend it on? Sturridge is one of the only successful purchases we have made in a few years. When fit he plays on par with Aguero. Yes, he's rarely fit. But honestly who would we replace him with? He's the only one of our strikers who is used to the squad, is in form, and knows how to play properly. So what? We buy another 12m striker who is again going to take a year to settle, get used to England, whatever. Then the gamble is if he'll be any good if he does settle since 12m won't get you far in this day and age unless you gamble. So if we want someone as proven as Sturridge, it will cost us at least half of that. Then we've just sold one of our only top class players for an extra 25m. Worth it? No. Not in my opinion. We've scapegoated him for being injured, which is bad for the team, yes, but not his fault. If he stays slightly more fit than he has been for the past year - he's worth more than that to us. Probably not worth that on the market, but he is worth it to us.
What also worries me is since we've had Sturridge we got like one good season out of him; since then we've barely seen him play. I would have liked a bit more wear out of him
There is no question if it's £50m, sell him! Yes he's brilliant when fit but he's never bloody fit! Origi's started to look good recently. Firmino has done a job and Ings will be back next season. Sell Benteke and Balotelli if we can and blow the lot on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang #fantasyfootball
It is bull but... 1. Mark my words right now. He is not the same player he was before injury. 2. It's crazy money. Crazy. 3. Klopp can get 3 better than him for that.
Well, it's rumour mill atm, but more like £45 mill being quoted: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...y-lose-Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-Edinson-Cavani.html I heard £50 mill somewhere, though
Get next one. Milk. I told you. But yeah. That's 85mil you've said. Klopp could get 10 players for that. And prob win league.
We must recognise that it's no coincidence this comes out on international week. 1. Players sending signals knowing there's enough time to not get asked about it really. 2. Papers need to fill pages and anything will do.
Would be astonished if they asked that much and knowing how much he's been injured they'd be daft to pay it. Still, some clubs like to burn money
He's a good player, but that is silly money for someone who can't do more than half a season. If he goes, it will be nearer £25M I reckon.
**** that. Stop thinking 2014. In the dim past 25mil would buy a player. Now 25 won't buy what's left after suarez gnaws on a player.
