Wishing you a very happy birthday Nines, congrats on your retirement, and much success in whatever you choose to do next in your life. You share the same birth date as my Mother (born 1919), who passed way in 2007. Back in the day my own Father would never have considered retirement before age 65. For myself, I turn 63 this year - have to stay on the work treadmill to keep paying the bills and help support my five daughters, three currently away at university, plus another one next year. One day I would very much like to meet you again at the Crown & Sceptre and join you for an R's match at Loftus Road, with a win and celebration pint at the Coningham Arms afterwards.
A very happy Birthday 9s and have a long and happy retirement. You are a stalwart on this board and a big part of why its so good. Reasoned, intellegent and measured at all times, with a little humour and wit thrown in too. Always enjoy your posts, have a great day mate!!
Enjoy your day 999s - you've truly deserved after all those years keeping us safe - have a great, relaxing retirement (if you can call watching the Rrrs relaxing)
Many happy returns, and congrats on retirement, may you have many happy years, filled with something a lot more enjoyable than work
Many happy returns and congratulations on your well-earned retirement, couldn't happen to a nicer bloke...
Many Happy Returns, Rich, and good luck with the next phase of your life and whatever projects you embark upon. Once you get used to having it, you're gonna find the freedom intoxicating...
Happy birthday & retirement 999's! Funny how your now retired but have to pay full price at Rangers, while I still have fourteen months to serve at work but pay a discounted price! Have a good weekend. Your team have helped by avoiding losing!
Happy birthday and retirement nines! As one of only 3 people on Not606 I've actually met, I wish you all the best.... and don't be retiring from here
Happy birthday Mr 9's. Your skills at putting out fires will still be needed on our forum no doubt, but not too often hopefully mate! Have a good one dude
Happy birthday to one of life's good'uns. I reach the same milestone the end of October. Thinking about what form my mid-life crisis will take. I'm afraid though I'll be working all the way up to 65, provided I'm still around and someone will have me of course.
Happy Birthday Rich and congratulationson the retirement. I do regard you as one of the nicest people I've not had the pleasure of meeting and wish you all the very best for the future. I'll give you the present that you want most - no Rs defeat this weekend. Now, don't say I'm not generous to a fault.
