It's only right that we have a thread commemorating the brave men who stood up to tyranny, hate, colonialism, and invasion, by collectively remembering the Easter Uprising of 1916. It's now exactly one month away and I look forward to hearing about how you will all celebrate it. The bird and I have booked Diamond seats at the Madinat Theatre on Friday 24th April, for a 2-1/2 hour celebration of diddly-dee music, poetry, plays, and I daresay some loud and proud chants for all the family to get involved in! A great bunch of lads, in my opinion, and on a personal level I'm a fan of the more recent IRA works of art, particularly Warrenpoint. FTQ
I'll be getting drunk, punching **** out of the wife and sexually abusing the kids. Nothing special really.
This is a time for communities to come together and sing songs about dead people from the olden days. And for half the population of the USA to pretend to be Irish while being flogged hokey green tat.
Glad that we are still occupying the north and New Zealand rejecting the chance to remove the union jack for its own flag TIME TO RECLAIM OUR EMPIRE!!
Does anyone else like hot crossed buns? I like them toasted but warmed up in the oven is nice too. Real butter and not margarine, makes all the difference, but strictly no jam as that wouldn't be right. Not sure why we only eat them to celebrate the Irish uprising though but Sainsbury's sell them all year round so I guess they might be Republicans although there is a lot of orange in their shops so I can't be certain. Tescos are red white and blue therefore could be Unionist (or Zionist if my history is correct).
**** off Grove, you incessant *****phile. Edit: Read your comment, actually seems relevant. Comment still stands though.
Good morning Mr The Dog, is it nice and sunny where you are? Glorious sunshine here in good old London town where we all get along and hardly ever have a riot or bombs going off. Are you a Cadbury's man or more of a Nestle kind of guy? Creme Egg or Kit Kat Chunky?
It's nice here, currently sitting at a relaxing 26 degrees. I prefer Galaxy if i am honest. They do one here with rice crispy bits in the chocolate. It's very good. Also, kit kat chunky. **** THE QUEEN
Nearest thing to that here is a Toffee Crisp which are awesome. If I ever meet the Queen I shall put your offer to her but she's a bit old for me.
Can't seem to find crunchies anywhere in Dubai. My ma had to send me some. Honeycomb toffee crisps are a delight.
Also, the caramel ones are good too. Chocolate bars are shrinking now though, and it's bullshit. All the fault of the Brit scum! CHUCKY AR LA
