Good Morning Everyone, There are a lot of articles doing the rounds saying that Evans is about to be sacked! Do you believe them? Should he go, or should Cellino back his Manager, at least until the end of the season (when his contract runs out) I read a couple of fans comments on Evans last night saying 'If you back Evans, you're part of the problem. Agree? What really annoys me is that players like Cook will be in the last year of his contract next season. Do we really expect him to sign a new deal. Would you? Where were you, and what were you doing when Leeds last won the League? How many of you, this time (with lets say 8-10 games left) thought that we would bottle it? How did you celebrate?
Morning Elland and all. Id imagine those comments you read Elland, were likely on twitter. There appears to be a dangerous and unhealthy divide among some Leeds fans. One side claiming unless youre anti Cellino, youre part of some problem and use the description "flat earthers" to describe those. The other extreme is of course slating anyone showing any kind of anti Cellino sentiment. Makes me wonder Elland, is there any more room for a Paddy on your fence?
Pointless getting rid as he will still be the best manager (On paper) that we've had for 4 seasons. He will get us a higher finishing position. Until we know the direction the club and Cellino is taking we are going nowhere. If Cellino is staying he has to do what he promised - Prem and promotion next season means big investment. Buy back ER and **** GFH off. So close season means action, if not may as well support Guisley
Morning all... Is it Evans or the players at his disposal? Doukara and Wootton are not good enough, however... Their best games have been under Evans and his only two signings Bridcutt and Diagouraga are maybe the best we have in the middle. I don't like Evans but we need to give him a season and back him with the players HE wants otherwise this circle is never going to be broken.
Morning ristac, I heard that some of the senior players had told Cellino that they could not work with Evans. Any idea's who????
Proves the point that the players play for Cellino and not the coach.. Players should not have direct access to Cellino, our structure just doesn't exist.
Really well put. I agree. Can't have the Manager scared to discipline individuals in case they grass him up.
Players who's names end with a vowel one would suspect. Morning by the way - looks nice today in Southampton judging by your picture
You speak too much sense as usual - no truly successful business can be run on fear from the top down
please log in to view this image Phil Hay @PhilHayYEP @LeedsUtdFC1919 highly likely. By all accounts Cellino was making it clear to people around him in on Saturday that Evans will probably go
Morning Marcos, lols... Silvestri? Berardi? Bamba? Adeyami Woottoni Slothi Antenucci Doukara Botaka That narrows it down?
It could just be the MAIL spouting bollocks AGAIN. I know Evans(or Cellino) picks the team, but the players should take a hard look at themselves. If some of them have gone ratting to Cellino then they are a disgrace IMO. It's a very easy thing to blame the manager to take the heat off some of their woeful displays. If Evans is sacked, maybe he might shed some light on what is really going on at ER(but he'll probably have signed a confidentiality clause)..as for the supporters wanting Cellino out, all they are doing IMO is making matters worse. A: By dividing Leeds Utd fans and B: by winding Cellino up, which will make he even more determined to stay, he is a stubborn fecker after all.
I wouldn't be sad to see him gone but we will end up with someone else we don't want. The problems we have aren't the managers doing....
