Reports today suggest we're looking to get Ake either on a second season loan or permanently. Talk of Chelsea willing to listen to offers over 3 (yes folks THREE) Million. Surely that cannot be right. If it is we should bite their hands off.
Apparently, the £3m price tag (and permanent deal) for Ake has been dismissed as remote. Most likely scenario is another season long loan.
This has got to be a nonsense story . If we had the chance at £15 million we should still bite their hands off . I imagine Ake has a very bright future ahead of him . In truth Watford are probably too small a club for someone with his ability and potential ..would love to see him sign , even it was just for another loan period .
He seems to have gone on record and stated his preference as a return to Chelski if he gets first team football there

Ok he is 31 but i would love to see us give him a 2 year deal as im not sure ake is coming back next year
What a shame if we lost him, when he's played he's been very good mostly and now that the season is coming to an end, and Ake is probably not going to be with us next season, surely it makes sense to play Holebas, rather than Ake? What a loss this would be...i hope they've got someone better up their sleeve!
I don't think Holebas wants to be here - he hasn't been in the past 2/3 squads despite as you say playing pretty well.
Both Ake and Holebas are good players and have contributed this year . But going forward , if Watford are to become an established premier league club , I will be disappointed if with play loanees in our first team and want to see players coming here who really want to be at the club , seemingly not the case with Holebas . I have faith in the Pozzos ..next seasons squad will be stronger than the current one . There are plenty of quality players out there and Watford will have money to rebuild .
i hope we get our midfield game better going forward... our reliance on Ighalo is a real problem... and so few goal scored...
The addition of Penaranda, Doucoure and Success next season must surely go some way to addressing that.
