Based on the two performances under Rafa, whilst there is some improvement, you have to ask yourself, where are the goals going to come from?
And that is the main, but not only oroblem we have and will continue to have.
I fear the worst and suspect the managerial change has come too late and we simply don't have enough quality to pull off another great escape.

Usually we pick up points in the first half of the season then collapse. We are seeing a full season collapse.

Rafa is not some saviour, but what does he care? He will walk away guilt free when we go.

I really don't know but after today, this has been a great weekend for Norwich. We'll have a better idea in a fortnight. If Norwich beat Newcastle and West Brom beat Sunderland, then I would agree, we are both down. This would be the first time in history both teams being relegated together, and in all fairness, would cushion the blow for both teams. The Championship is underrated, it is a tough but fantastic league to be in. Anybody can beat anybody, wouldnt be the end of the world for the fans, but our billionaire owners would be hot hard in the pocket

I don't know why anyone thinks we will beat Norwich. They are picking up points and confidence. They see the light at the end of the tunnel, so why would they get rolled over by us.
I despair of some of the performances today. The first half was poor.
Gini did one useful thing all match, what on earth has happened to him?
To many mistakes, can't pass, can't defend the set piece, can't score.
If we pull this off it will be nothing short of a miracle.
Rafa's post match interview lacked sincerity today, l think the penny has dropped for him.

The next set of fixtures is key, was never going to be about today like all pundits seem to think it was. Norwich are favourites now but Sunderland's and Newcastle's home games are vital, unless of course Norwich beat Newcastle and West Brom beat Sunderland. Then of course, it would be all over imo

Norwich have played an extra game, they got a good result against West Brow yesterday but in no way are they guaranteed survival just yet.

I can see this going down to the last two or maybe even last games.

I don't think anything has changed after today's game. It's still 2 from 3 for the drop and it could be any one of the 3 that stays up. If we lose to Norwich it will be very difficult to come back from the 6 point lead they would have over us. We don't HAVE to win it though although we would have to get some wins from somewhere obviously.

By all accounts WBA were shocking, but Norwich are no pushovers and both our teams will have to play better than today to beat them, having said that, we can.

Palace are also looking in pretty bad shape at the moment. They seem to have lost the plot

It's far from over for anybody in the bottom 5 apart from Villa. Relegation threatened teams always manage to throw up some shock results in the final run in. We need to start winning games, starting at Norwich next week. That will be far from easy, but it isn't impossible. If Norwich beat us and Sunderland beat West Brom then Palace are only two points clear of relegation if they lose at West Ham. Remember, after this many games last season we were 12th and weren't even being listed on the odds for relegation - and it took a last day win to avoid the drop.

There is still so much to play for. Apart from Villa, we look the most likely to go down. That said, at this stage last season Leicester were bottom and doomed. It will take a miracle, but stranger things have happened. While there is still any hope then we have to keep believing (as do all of the other teams).

Palace would be 4 points from the bottom 3 if all that happened, not 2.

Come the start of may we'll get a clear picture. Too many factors in the meantime to sensibly commit to predicting the last two places. Palace could get dragged in but one win with other results going in their favour can see them virtually safe in the space of a weekend. I think it's between us two and Norwich, typical Pardew to do enough in the first half of the season. Going to be close but I'm not going to try and predict which two of the three are going down. One of us is going to drop though. Real possibility we'll both go. If that happens I'll be thanking **** we didn't shell out 80 odd million this year.

Hm, it's looking the most likely outcome.

Newcastle & Sunderland are teams of pampered ingrates who think they're far, far too good to be playing at the clubs. Norwich have some fight in them, and that's the kind of team who avoid the drop. I know for sure there are some players in our dressing rooms, who cannot ****in' wait for the clubs to go down. They will terminate there contracts and walk somewhere else.

    Moussa Sissoko comes to mind.

Our complete lack of goal threat will see us relegated imho. Defoe may just keep them up. A proven striker should have been the absolute priority in the last window. It doesn't matter what the rest of the team does, if you cant score then you cant possible win.

We are going down, Rafa will be off and hopefully that fat little chancer Charnley will follow behind.

We lack the quality but you won't find many who think we're lacking the heart. If you lot have an attitude problem in your squad don't put it on us. We're just ****. Simple as that. But we're up for the fight. Don't doubt that for a second. That doesn't equate to us staying up unfortunately. But we won't go down without a fight. two defeats in the last eight for us. If we'd turned a few of them into wins we would have been out of sight, But effort is making us hard to beat. It's the lack of quality which has kept us in the mix.
