I never said it was anything of the sort. I simply said his recent PL record isnt great and I stand by that.
http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/spo...-collymore-been-told-steve-11067143#nav-panel Bruce wants the Villa job according to Collymore.
I would love the Villa job, right now though I don't have the qualifications, so if I get it offered I'll take it but in a managers manager position!
Im guessing Bruce will want a change if we dont go up this season and Villa could be perfect for him.
It appears that Bruce is between a rock and a hard place at the moment. If he does manage to get us promoted, no amount of money will entice players of the quality we need to come here so our current team would break Derby's unenviable record if he couldn't improve it. Joining Villa now will be another Premier League relegation on his CV so I couldn't see him jumping ship at this stage. If he fails in the promotion challenge then he will take over Villa (if, repeat IF) he is offered the job. Will Villa wait?
The Bruce Allam love in came to end last year. Bruce and Ahab have barely spoken since last summer. It was only the old man's intervention that stopped Bruce getting binned. Apparently.
That's a helluva opening post on the forum. I'd be more inclined to take you seriously if you'd managed to spell Ehab's name correctly.
I understand that he's unhappy that he has very little contact with the owners nowadays and he was annoyed he was not warned about the membership scheme announcement last week.
Whatever happens I expect Bruce will be our manager until the end of the season. That 'nobody will want to come to Hull' thing is utter bollocks, any Premier League club next season will be able to attract top players.
I can't understand owners wanting a manager that doesn't want to be here, and can't imagine how the players can respect him.
Well, we don't seem to be able to. I remember I posted a file called the "Thanks, but No Thanks" file of players who had been approached and who had turned us down and there were about 20 in it. Most disturbing.
That will most likely be because the odds of relegation for us are high. It's odd because the counter argument is players that come to City towards the end of their career tend to stay in the area. There's quite a few dotted around West Hull Villages, so it can't be all that bad.
Hallefuckinglulah. Sat on a plane about to jet off on me holibobs and this has just made my day. Can't wait for the announcement that he's finally ****ed off. The turd.
