If i was Maguire id be baffled and fuming. Hes got to start against Bristol but wont!! Can Bruce not see the drive he gives us, he drives us forward and gives players around encouragement.
We need a proper centre forward. Big strong holds the ball up, good at corners. That is not Nick Powell. Powell looks a decent attacking midfield player. He's not a ****ing centre forward. Anyone who has seen him live will know this. We didnt need him we needed a big strong etc etc
He's not out of form, he just hasn't had the support or the right balls into him. You name me a striker that scores virtually every single game?? Not many right? The 18 mins or so he was on the pitch we looked the most dangerous and he looked sharp, but the problem is, 18 mins is not enough time. So with your answer, you were completely happy that we started with 6 midfielders and no strikers? That's not football IMO, especially when trying to get promoted!
We needed Gestede when we didn't sign him over £1M or whatever it was. Gestede and Gray would be a decent front 2

Agreed, and no Bruce clearly doesn't see the connection with our recent, but rapidly becoming distant, winning run and Maguire being in the side. Maguire shows no respect for the opposition, he scares the ****er's to death, Bruce continues to starve him of first team football. **** off to a team/manager that does value you H, I wouldn't blame you!
But we didnt get a big strong forward. We got Powell and was told to play him up front and unless im seeing things hes worth a game or 2 because of our woeful finishing
Our problems is our creativity. Gray woudn't have done **** tonight with Diame blazing over evry chance and duff crosses into the box
Were we watching the same game? His link up play and one-twos with Diame opened up Boro and if Elmo had been a bit more composed we would have scored.
We've been **** for the last five games now. If players under perform, a good manager sorts it out after the first game. He's done **** all to improve the situation, in fact, he's made it worse by playing the likes of Clucas in central midfield and Diame out wide. We need a new manager.
I don't buy that. He pursued Gray, we lost Jelavic and had to make a panic buy in Diomande on deadline day. He tried and failed to go for Gayle and Vydra, the latter going on loan to another Championship team. Even with Gray, Gayle and Vydra, he could have tried to sign someone like Nahki Wells from Huddersfield. Face it, when it comes to strikers, Bruce gets it wrong more than he does right. For every Long, Jelavic and Hernandez there's Graham, Sagbo, Proschwitz, Akpom etc. And the good strikers we have signed cost us a fair bit of money.
