Just one example of cultural differences ... Facebook and You Tube have to be blocked at most my UK and US hubs ... Not so in SA or India or France and Germany ... Hence they get all the digital back end work. A few of my UK underlings all of all have been shipped in via DHL and their under companies are recruited with all the qualifications you could not believe ...

I was asked this week on a shoot:
How many centimetres are there in a millimetre when I said .1 the reply was so they are the same then

Sorry, but it's not and you are wrong. I've worked for multinationals, and have seen this all over the world.

Face it - you're wrong on this...

And there's no need to get personal, however much you get off on that.

All EU countries can determine their own taxation rules.

But that is one of the massive weaknesses of the EU, you cant have politic and currency union without economic union.
But they will only implement that over time, slowly sucking sovereign rights of each individual country.

Politicians have tried to rewrite laws of economics, with only epic failure. Remember Gordon Brown's quote, "we have abolished boom and bust". And so his debt fuelled boom, was followed by the mother of all busts.

If you want drivel, I suggest you reread your post #247 in which you attempted to give us all a lecture about sovereignty but neglected to mention once the British Parliament to which sovereignty relates.

You've convinced yourself that in the event of Brexit your house price will drop (no credible evidence for that whatsoever) and hence you attack personally anyone who dares oppose your own stilted views. I suggest you chill out a bit, mate and try to see through your own phobias

Goldie and Chaz ripping into one another is like a microcosm of the Tory party.

    Good fun.

If Osbourne struggles, Cameron wobbles. The IDS objection surely goes beyond the disability review, into Cameron's handling of the referendum within his own party

Better to have a party that encourages open debate, than a party that advocates antiquated socialist theories, that have been completely debunked, through simple laws of economics.

    Good fun !!

Surely one can criticise the Israeli state without being anti-semitic?

Sure you can, and sometimes with justification imo. But slurs against Jewish people in general are simply racist, and should be stamped out wherever they occur, otherwise we're going backwards

I'm surprised that you listen to this show as I can recall your previous indicators elsewhere on this forum to your dislike of Humphries.
I've just found the first draft of IDS's resignation letter and what was really on his mind ...

What else am I going to listen to in the morning, Nicky ****ing Campbell? At least Humphreys isn't on every day. And Naughtie has been sent to follow Trump around, for his multiple and manifest sins.

Anyway, just arrived (2 a,m.) at beach house near Padstow where I will be relaxing for the next week. Wifi (obviously) but no phone signal, perfect. Once the dog has calmed down I plan to sleep for a couple of days, and then ponder exactly what your life will be like after the 24th. Relish these last few days as a contributing member of society mate. I envy you.

How Cameron must be bitterly regretting the day he promised the Referendum he never believed he would have to honour. Still, one thing this is laying bare is what the individuals concerned are really like and none of them are remotely pleasant. IDS with a conscience? Don't make me laugh...

What don't you like about IDS? Seems to be one of the better politicians on either side.
