Just had a text from someone @ tonight's BRFC Shareholders meeting.
Stadium to be completed in 28 months ( 2 more seasons @ the Mem),
perhaps with increased capacity. Don't know if that means the stadium itself
    or the development.
Only passing on what I've been told!!

Nice! I cant wait until the details come out in full. Im guess that that where they have given this info out, deal must have been struck with UWE then.

So, it should be ready for 2018-19. Intriguing that it could be with an increased capacity. The original design could be expanded from 21,700 to 26k without any external alteration, so perhaps they're just going the whole hog from the start to avoid any disruption in the future. If so, that's going to be one hell of a stadium - best in the South West!

I hope they dont. I dont want a bigger stadium. Just what they proposed with the choice to expand when needed. I know it will avoid distruption, I get that but lets say it takes 10-15 years to even regularly fill the stadium to show there is a need for expansion, i rather have a filled up stadium then build more than build too big to start with and destroy any atmostphere that we have, if you know what I mean.

When was the last time we had a crowd of over 20k for a home game?
