If he was to come back it should be at the end of his contract on a free, we don't want to be paying a lot of money for someone who will be on the way to 30. He's the type of player who'll be good late into his career imo and well worth bringing back. He will be a different player but still worth having.
I don't think he'll slow down too much cos he's never been quick.. but then again... if you end up like lambert being beaten to the ball then you can't get the goals.
He takes pride in his fitness and tenacity, I also think he'll adapt with age as he's one of the most intelligent footballers I've ever seen (on the pitch at least).
dunno.. no dennis berkamp but then... teddy sheringham got away with it over here so anyone can i suppose.
Can't remember who it was but I had a long argument on here with someone that claimed Suarez was pacey He's not slow but certainly not pacey, he gets an advantage in his head and his acceleration wasn't too bad either.
no not pacey. just normal speed. like kane. he's not slow but nobody should call kane swift. Suarez was not an expolosive player like say aguero but he could get by quite nicely.
He was always clever when through on goal and would position himself so that the dfender couldn't put a challenge in.
Didn't say it wasn't true, "more pacey" just doesn't sound right I'd have gone with "Benteke has more pace than Suarez"
the only pens he got was from playing the ball off guys hands.. the cheat. imagine the cheek. diving and biting and playing the ball against guys... sticking fingers up and daring to respond to a nasty twat calling his sister a whore.
