It happened last season, you'll notice that Villa were runners up against Arsenal last season but didn't get an European place.

Thank god. If villa were in Europe our co-efficient score would have gone below Scotland!

    And this?

Van Gaal said: “Payet was, more or less, diving. Of course, he was maybe touched but not to fall like that. There is always discussion about the decisions of the referee. You can also say that about the game against Liverpool [on Thursday]."

so pulling players and making contact is allowed but falling down is bad.

    right...

    so...

again how many utd players have fallen down in 2016 alone?

I'd contend thatutd are only in europa still due to a flop.

He used the game against us on Thursday as some kind of unfair factor in their game yesterday, so he's obviously not very happy we'll have had a full week off before Thursday.

    Seems to be.

wasn't happy the faithful cheers the removal of sideshow bob either. apparently bob playing brill and delivered on the #plan perfectly.

sweinsteiger and carrick will play thursday i reckon.

I am hoping they sideways pass for 70mins and we don't cough up too many chances.

Lindgard will be back and he's a bigger danger than any of their lot. Is there any way to explain to moroneo he doesn't need his starting poition to be on the edg eof thier 18 yard box when we are 2-0 up.

He needs to sort his story out. He says his #philosophy is working because Man Utd are still in 3 competitions, so why does he need excuses anyway?

If Man Utd lose to us, then draw with Man City, then lose to Everton, then draw with Spurs, things will be set up nicely

I'm on for the quadruple #nojinx here

Easy to forget such was the briefness of it all :(

Was (and still am) absolutely gutted about it. All that hard work to throw it away without making group stage. Lowest point in the season for me along with another cup game which we won't go into ;) <whistle>

even bbc salfod have deserted utd.

"We asked you who you thought would win the FA Cup.

It was neck and neck but West Ham won the vote with 38% ahead of Everton (36%).

The fact Manchester United were third with 14% tells its own story. Watford (7%) and Crystal Palace (4%) didn't have much love."

  20. I think it is Everton's to lose now, they have to be favourites. Their league position is a massive red herring imo, they are a better side than all the others left in. West Ham are the next best side. I don't think there is much to choose between the other three although I'd probably pick Watford next.

I might be a bit biased though since I want Everton to win it!
