Did you see how they were all on? The two strikers, Abel and Akkers, on the wings. The two non strikers arseholes up front! A central midfielder starting on the left wing with a left winger in central midfield next to the best Junior Lewis impersonator since James Harper. Line up all wrong, subs all wrong, purely at Bruce's door is this one.
Bruce's interview sounded to me like… i'm not too concerned because at the end of the season I get a pay rise and £40 million to waste again at a new club. When he does **** off, I do hope he takes half of this shower with him.
Bruce saying players maybe nervous and the occasion getting to the players.....**** off bruce it's the same old story big game and we bottle it. It's your job to sort this problem
Are we all missing a trick ? Is a football managers job piss easy , you're half successful and get paid 500k - £2m and just talk cliche´s to the media or you fail , go on holiday for 6 months then come back and get another managerial position ?...I like SB ..but it seems like a lot of money for old rope.
Andy Robertson interview …'we need a Plan A, B and C'… no one's mentioned Plan C here before. What is that…?!!!!
We badly need a plan B. Brighton, Wednesday, Birmingham and MK have all read the situation perfectly, and have managed to stifle us out of the game, not that we are particularly good at helping ourselves. We can't get the ball to Hernández like we were doing earlier in the season. The balls from the wings into the box have completely dried up. So what now? Do we just shrug, and say that's it? They're man-marking us in midfield. Well that's us getting a point then. So many people coming away from the KC were saying we need to start winning again. We need to start scoring again first. Putting four strikers on for injury time vs. a team in relegation trouble is not tactics, it's desperation. We should not be having to do that if we genuinely considered ourselves title contenders. I am feeling so frustrated tonight. On another note - I am not blaming this for the result, but I am for the mood I am in. When are the league going to do something about time wasting. We're seeing so much of it this season. The Don's keeper was timewasting in the second minute. There should be sanctions post match for clubs when it is clearly part of their tactics. We are paying a hell of a lot for these tickets, and I do not want to sit there seeing a grown man check his shoes for mud for the twentieth f******g time.
I know they stick it in their name and many just follow that unquestioningly, but the the real Wimbledon are another team.
I'm with you on that - but I gave them the name on this occasion, because I was in too much of a pissed off mood to write Franchise.
Robinson was ****ing fuming that they gave 8 minutes added time. The cheeky twat. Does he think his team should be allowed to time waste from the 2nd minute and not have it added on?
I was happy with the starting XI, until I saw that Diame was on the wing and Clucas in the middle. It was so obviously not working, I can't believe it took so long to change it, Bruce seems to think that things will get better second half even if he does nothing. It often does, which is equally frustrating, you don't get promoted playing thirty minutes of every ninety.
Should have put harry up front for last 15minutes, it was crying out for something different. He would be more of a goal threat than aluko, apkom and Neil diamond together
That wasn't very good , teams are going to come here and play for 0-0 and we need to be better Ref was very weak though although I am not making excuses for us
We didn't get all of it either - I was timing, and the ref blew full time just after 7mins. That's what's pissing me off thought - it wasn't just that there were a lot of stoppages, you could see by the position players were getting into before subs - this was pure pre-meditated tactical choices. That's why I'm saying they should face action after the match. It is not a good advert for football.
Injuries don't help but too many teams are now coming to ours with a simple plan and it's working. That first half was tepid at best,we look lost like a team slung together at the last minute and the coaching staff all had flu. Thing is,teams won't lay down and let us boss them,we have to be good enough to do that ourselves,it's difficult enough, specially playing those scrapping for their lives down at the bottom. All in all, another nervy performance riddled with a definite lack of confidence I'm afraid and the pressure mounts on the team now as we go into a run of games that will probably see who goes up with Burnley.
